Great concept but issues

Serialexpr

I’ve been using Ride Report for awhile (almost a year now) and love the idea of not having to start and stop recording like you do with other tracking apps. However, there are some major issues with it that are making me rethink Ride Report as my main tracker. The biggest is that it rarely will start accurately recording rides soon after you start. It likes to draw a straight line between your starting point and where you are 10 or 15 minutes into the ride. Because of this I’ll miss up to a mile from every ride. Add this up over a month and it means Ride Report is under recording my total distance by about 30 miles. I’m going to go with a different app for awhile, but I’ll keep checking in to see whether this issue has improved.

Mileage tracking inaccurate after iOS 11 update

Pdx.weedy

I’m a daily bike commuter. I’ve used this app for almost a year and loved the way it tracked all my rides... until iOS 11 update and now it shorts my rides by up to a mile each trip. I’ve sent examples to the developer, but still broken. Please fix.

It used to work...

Mr. Archer

I've been using Ride Report for nearly 9 months. When I first started using it, I thought it was brilliant. Rides were accurately tracked, and it rarely made errors. Since iOS11, though, I don't think I've seen a single accurate ride. It randomly decides that I've stopped, or only seems to pick up the start and end points, which it then connects with a straight line and decides that it was a train ride. If the developer can fix these problems, I'd be happy to try it again, but for now I'm giving up.
