What it does it does well

Doesn't do a ton... Just gives you exercises and provides immediate feedback as to how you did. However, if you're dedicated, and you work with this, it can really improve your reading ability. It would be nice If the exercises were broken up in to categories, or there were some way to choose how you were approaching various trouble areas... Maybe in an update? For $2.99 this is a very good app.

This app is just great. Perfect from anybody from beginner to advanced levels. My rhythm reading has improved so much without me even noticing it and it's all because of this app. The icing on the cake are the updates. With every update there's always a very useful feature. I'm looking forward to download more apps from this company.

This is ridiculously inaccurate and maddening to play. If you are looking for any remote rhythmic accuracy, look elsewhere. I have a doctorate in percussion and it makes my skin crawl to try to get the green accuracy dots to appear. The only way to do that is by being totally inaccurate with the rhythm.

I love how it looks. I figured it out right away how to get started practicing my rhythm for piano playing. There are advanced settings if you want them but I liked that I could jump right in and start practicing. And can't emphasize how much I like the clean and beautiful interface.

Really nicely designed app with a huge variety of exercises covering practically every possible rhythm imaginable. I like that you can easily choose exercises covering the type of rhythms you want to work on (i.e. 16th notes with ties in 3/4 time).

I LOVE this app/ make examples longer

I absolutely LOVE this app and I use it every single day. I love that I can do everything in swing, and that it helps me with 5/4 and 7/4 and that it gives me precise feedback. One thing I would really appreciate is longer examples. I use it in random mode, and on my iPhone 6 I feel that you could definitely include another line of rhythm, doubling the example. But I wouldn't want a continuous example that went in forever, because I like reading different time signatures. But longer examples would be nice. Ideally, I would like 16 bar examples, but I don't know if that is really possible. Anyway, this app is seriously incredible and I would encourage anyone who values the skill of rhythm to download it. Thank you so much for this great app. :)

This app delivers. Do these exercises and yourrhythmic vocabulary will improve. It lets you visually see if you are coming in late or early on beats. It is like bio feedback which you can adjust too. Zone in and see what your ingrained habits are! I'm a music teacher (25 years) this app was a surpisingly useful and effective tool. I'd be comfortable suggesting it to my students who know how to read basic notes but need to sharpen and spice up their timing. Go ahead. Be surprised

Great for a beginner

I want to be better at playing my guitar and this app is amazing for building rhythm. I downloaded it less than 24 hours and gone from having no experience or understanding of rhythm to feeling I already have a built a foundation that I can continue to progress forward on.
