Fun game, annoying pay to wins.

Dragespear

This game is Clash Royale but with anime fairy tale characters. Like the abilities and SP skills which makes every deck become unique. Characters all have personality which is a step up from Clash. The only gripe I have with this game is how not F2P it is. Recently I versed a level 9 tower (which is around like level 11-13) and I only have a level 7. The tower health the opponent had was a bit to much for me so I only barely ended with a tie. The limit on heroes is nice since it makes a all hero deck not viable and would be pretty broken. But it’s hard to play sometimes since I can go against someone who has a major level advantage or has legendaries that have relatively low drop rates in their deck. You can argue that a free to play should just shut up but I’m just taking my stand for something like this.

Fix crash

blackiechansushi

Good game just need to fix the crashing during battles. Love the animation and would like to keep playing if it stops crashing

Connection issues

Giovaniwilldestroyyourface

Ok so games addicting but my major complaint is the connectivity issues, when I’m playing on WiFi which I can stream and play other games with no issues but with this game I constantly have issues. I mean, it’s odd that I can run on data but not WiFi with this game. Please fix.

Fun game

Clash royals clone with a slight paywall. I really enjoy the team and SEGA seems commuted to it for a moment. Just know matchmaking can occasionally be wonky - but it usually balances out. They’ve added a non ranked mode as a result of feedback. Characters are fun and original, and they’ve added more story than these games tend to without making it an absolute requirement.

game’s great and so is art but...

Connection problems are a pain. if you EVEN get that connection unstable on your screen even ONCE! Even if it’s just there for a second then you can’t spawn any units. That really messes up the game and the battle your on. i’ve lost some battles thanks to that and my connection is fine in the many games i play.

Tired of CR?

That Wimpy Healer

Are you tired of clash royale? But are you okay with severe balancing issues? Then this game is for you! Welcome to the colorful world where fairy tales are reality with charming characters, decent storyline, and a new perspective on the bite sized RTS genre! With cool abilities and ults, it sets itself apart from Clash royale in a very flashy way! The game early on encourages a nice verity of play styles and is overall pretty fun! But there is a catch of course. Remember those balancing issues spoken of earlier? Well as you progress, they become much more apparent. (Not to name specifics because chances are if you are reading this, you don’t work for SEGA and you haven’t played the game yet.) I enjoy the game, but in a few short months, I have become progressively more frustrated with the game. The meta seems to demand a very specific play style and it is quite frustrating. Also, the legendary cards become a necessity as you progress, just like in clash royale. But I would recommend the game if you ditched clash royale like I did.

Pretty good game, but...

Da bantam

This has got to be one of the best games I’ve played in awhile, but it could use a few improvements. First, the game crashes when I play certain parts in story mode and it’s very frustrating. But yeah, other than that, it’s a great, fun, creative game (just fix the story mode issue).

Clash Royale meets Shonen Anime

MobileGamersUnite

The game is basically clash Royale and anime mixed together. All the characters have charm and personality which makes this game a delight to play. Koji Igarashi (of Castlevania fame) helped with the character design, so you can tell that Sega definitely put in the effort for the art direction. Just started two days ago and I am already addicted. There is some pay to win aspect when ranking up, but that is typical with these tower defense games. One of my biggest gripes with this game is that there is not enough character, spell, and unit variety in this game. In its defense, it only came out last year, but I hope the developers continue to add new content outside of seasonal ranked, quests, and events. Is the Sega and the developers really put in the effort, I’m sure that this game will give Supercell a run for their money. Overall, you have two choices for this genre: Clash Royale or Revolve8.
