Older version was better

kurt

November 14 update: the developer has kept his word and updated the app to address my gripe. Thanks! ????????? The older version was better. In the older version, when you pressed on the keys in keyboard piano, it would produce the note. When you press the second time it wouldn't as if to turn the note off. The new version makes it sound both times. This is very distracting. Hopefully the new developer will fix this. Otherwise, the app is perfect.

Love it.

Weasel pork.

As a musician and music teacher this app is incredibly valuable. I use it every day and recommend it to every one of my students.

Very pleased

This app is what I was looking for. The only thing I would like see is an option to see the guitar , piano and music notation of the chord on the same screen. If not then a toggle button so you don’t have to go into settings to change the display. Would be nice for an export into pdf also.

Amazing

Helps songwriters explain their finger yoga to classically-trained retards.

Wonderful teaching tool

I have relied on this for a few years as I slowly gain my ability to analyze the pieces I’m working on. Couldn’t do without it.

Identifying chord shapes

smack57

I have been looking for an app like this for a long time and I have finally found it.something that when I am noodling around and I create a chord that sounds good I can see what it is right away.In just a few hours I have found chords that I can move up and down the neck learning theory already had a couple of “oh yeah “ moments would be great at twice the price. Thanks thank you very much

this is gold!

Needs some work.

I like the concept. Needs help on the iPad. Doesn’t have all chord names. Doesn’t have a way to play back a series of chords (like Chord Suggester).

Disappointed

I took a chance and purchased this app thinking it would be able to identify the chord I was playing by sound. It cannot. I wish I could get a refund. My advice is be careful what you purchase from Apple...you may be stuck with it.
