App is improving

One Ohm

The new trim a route option is nice. But why can’t I just set a 2 mile radius around my house and work? Then I wouldn’t have to edit every single time I get home. The challenges are also great. The kids pediatric cancer ride is great. But don’t only show the top 10. Show the 5 above me, and 5 below me. Give me some motivation to climb a few more spots. The top people seem impossible to match. Either they ride full time for a living, or are retired. I would rather see people I am similar to for a little competition. Keep up the good work!

Free and Pro?

MBeef

App Store says there is a monthly pricing option and the app says you can start a free trial, but there is neither a monthly option or a free trial! If you click the free trial screw, it just takes you to where you can sign up annually. I thought this was a good app, but I’d like a cheap trial before I buy a $40 subscription.

This app is a cancer. Auto renewal will hit you up for 50 bucks every year

Soccerinco

Auto renewal with this app continues I’m on my third year trying to get them to not auto renew.

Tracking while app off?

sixscro

Why does this app need to track me when I’m not using the app? Do you sell my information? What up?

A triumph of slick marketing over functionality

neun.elf

This app has to be one of the least suited-to-purpose apps I’ve ever installed. In reading the most critical reviews I found, to my astonishment, that it has existed for years. It honestly strikes me as beta quality. I kept thinking, “well, give them a break — it in the early stages”. Wrong. Poorly implemented features, and a really bad UI lead to a bad, and arguably dangerous (while riding) UX. The backing rever.co website is not even properly responsive. Looks goofy on an iPad in Safari. I canceled the rever.co subscriptionservice, but even my first attempt at that failed with a “something went wrong” error message. This, after I spent quite a while typing up my reasons for cancellation. The second attempt worked (I hope), but I assure you my feedback on that second submission was a little less … constructive.

Scenic is better

travelintrevor

The app has a nice “feel” to it but it doesn’t allow me to create custom routes. I want to be able to drop pins onto a map and then follow that route to my destination and that destination is my house! That’s what we do as riders :) I have up on this app long ago and found an app that allows me to create and edit custom routes. Scenic isn’t perfect either but it allows me to ride where I want.

REVER

REVER is great. One small glitch is the tendency to sometimes stop recording without notice, hopefully that’ll be fixed.

Terrible!

Avoid the app. Nothing but problems.Editing functionality is hit or miss. Today all of my rides and other data disappeared into thin air like they never existed. Tech support is nonexistent.

Logs me out

bibila

Almost every day, I wake up to this app having me logged out and I have to input password every time. This is really annoying.

Only 1 star because I can’t give a lower score.

Do not pay for the “pro” service on this app as none of the advertised services work! I get so much better service from other free apps, I’ll never use this app again as it is a total waste of time. Almost every ride I go on, the app stops working and I lose my tracking, not to mention everything else too. If you try to navigate with it you might get lucky, or it might stop working and leave you stranded. The whole reason I got this app was so my family could track me while riding alone…. That function might work intermittently at best if you’re lucky. Out of 10 rides, I think it worked once for me. Do yourself a favor and go with a more reliable free app. They’re out there (H-D ride planner) and they work way better than this one!
