Very useful app with many applications for my business

Very useful app with many applications for my business. I employ several virtual assistants and own a small business with several key employees. This is a great communication device for me because we are a sales organization and always on the go. Half of our time is out of the office so this is a great tool to bridge the gap.

I wanted to use this to transcribe my class lectures so I would be able to understand my professors but they want $1 a minute for the transcription. I go to so many lectures a week this is not practical for students.

First time I used this was at a Neurologist appointment where I was getting the results from my MRI. It must have stopped during recording then started again, because there were things missing. Very disappointing ?

This is the WORST app ever. Extremely incompetent. Had recorded very important deposition and it will not play the recordings. 12 hours of information lost. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this horrible app!!!!
Great app ... but curious about one thing

Love this app. Only thing was it crashed on me a few times already. Was bummed because I lost all the date and one time missed to repacked due to that. Also, one more thing I’m curious about is how many hours at one time can one record ? Looking forward to an answer ASAP Thank you B

No Trust Remains
I used Rev to record ideas. When I tried to send lay back the recording, I was informed it would cost $444 for a transcription: I didn’t want a transcription. I just wanted to hear my words. There didn’t seem to be any way to get around the demand for money. My ideas are being held hostage.

It doesn’t automatically save. So if your phone shuts off in the middle of recording you just lost everything you just recorded. When my phone turned back on it didn’t go back to the recording so I can save it. All was lost of my dying father’s words. This app could be better if It saves as it was recording.

I have used REV religiously for two years to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars in fees. While the app has worked well most of the time they have completely fallen apart this week. 48 hours after submission and no transcriptions and no visibility into when they will be done. These are highly sensitive and time urgent materials. Would suggest using another service until they figure out how to handle their current volume of work.
