The app lets you manage your personal library of soundscapes to be used for sound therapy, one of the most common therapies to minimize the effects of tinnitus. Either listen to the default soundscapes of create your own from a collection of environmental sounds and small pieces of music.
To help you cope with your tinnitus, Relief also provides different activities to relax and get better sleep such as guided meditations, breathing exercises and imagery.
The Learn section will teach you more information about what is tinnitus, what are the causes of tinnitus, common therapies as well as tips to help you better deal with the effects of your tinnitus.
My Relief will help you to create a personalized plan to teach you manage your tinnitus. Just answer some questions about your tinnitus and the issues that bother you the most, and ReSound Tinnitus Relief will create a weekly plan to help you train managing your tinnitus.
Just download ReSound Tinnitus Relief and listen to it as you normally listen to music from your smart phone.
The app is a tool for anyone who has tinnitus. It should be used in combination with a tinnitus management programme or plan set up by a hearing care professional.

These prices are for United States customers. Pricing in other countries may vary and actual charges may be converted to your local currency depending on the country of residence.
The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To manage your subscription, go to your iTunes Account by selecting the option from Settings menu. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed. Unused portion of the free trial is forfeited after purchase. All purchases are final.

Useful app, but with the last update it no longer functions. App will launch, move immediately into the background, and then become completely nonfunctional.
Background launch problem

App doesn't operate properly when it comes in background, it case streaming via Bluetooth to stop. Please fix it asap.

I'm not sure the app helps stop the tinnitus, but it is comforting. It works great with my hearing aids and I can easily adjust the sounds.

With a few tweaks it could be great

I design mobile apps for a living, and with a few tweaks this could be a really great "white noise" app. First, the "bubble" interface isn't great. It makes scrolling through a long list take forever. My bigger complaint is that you can hear when the tracks reach their endpoint and repeat. This draws your attention back to what you're hearing, which completely defeats the purpose of white noise.

I have tried about every app out there and they all bother my right ear. I have severe Tinnitus in the left ear and am going through serious tests for what's happening in the right ear-(worse than tinnitus- banging-hissing and clicking- which gives me vertigo). For the first time in a year and a half because of this app and playing it in the background has actually given me peace in both ears ....So thankful....

It’s funny how you guys fix this app but not the main interface. Go fix the ReSound Smart App. I’m getting weary and tired of reconnecting my hearing aids to my iPhone X.

As a road warrior, and much time spent in airports/airplanes, the Relief app has been a life saver. Whenever the background noise gets overwhelming, I turn on my custom setting: Feel no pain w/rain & train. Love adjusting the custom settings-makes me feel like a DJ!
