Sometimes useful, other times frustrating

Cooly1682

I kept this app only because it can access my computer network shared folders without a client side app. The interface is really creepy.. "Ready for others" *new line* "Let 'em in your phone". Awkward. I also get a could not connect message a whole lot. That would be something to show my friends. "Look how reliable TIOD is, and what a name, pronunciation may be a pain to precise!"

Folders messed up

Ps--

Otherwise it would be a great app for nas

Almost there

I needed a smb media player and this did it. Review for smb function only. Connected to SMB (clunky interface). Played avi divx,xvid,mkv,mp4. I was blown away that it played videos Improvements needed 1. Sorting option as right now files are not sorted and no way to control 2. History does not remember scanned smbs 3. Download option there is for pics but not other files 4. No way to go back once u start playing video. Need a back button. It pans the video, no scaling option 5. Not sure how to manually punch in smb address 6. Create favorites for smb paths 7. Bigger buttons for the scan etc

Decent, but could be better.

This app plays all video files that aren't supported by iPad -- However, the UI is really needs to support rotation, its kind of stupid to see a movie start playing upside-down :-)

Garbage

M.a.t.t.8.9.

Don't bother try to watch movies on this, it pauses every 2 seconds, and that is, if you can actually get the program up and running. Needs an update!

Not all working properly

I Can't access to my NAS as a guest.:(

Good soft

There are some bugs but this is the only app able to access locally shared folders. Good app!

Nonfunctional

I was looking for an SMB client, saw this. Tried to browse to my SMB sever, it saw it. Cool. But couldn't access files. I have guest access enabled, but this app couldn't log in. Fine, try a user - still no log on. Ok fine, try FTP client. Oh, it crashed. Deleted app.

Landscape mode, sorting file/directory lists

Udsd007

How about adding two options that would make this app very much more useful: 1) detect and support display in landscape mode, and 2) add an operator to sort file/directory lists by size, creation date, file name, file type, last change date, etc.

Solid. Works great!

Does everything I expected. I just wish the local folder support folder and file level password protection. The app could be better if it recognized that an Apple A/V cable was attached for connection to a television. Currently, it ignores that an A/V cable is attached.
