Best App

My favorite iPhone app I love having all of my remote control old on my iPhone, iPod touch and computers. Configure it once and it is on all of the devices. Changes and configurations to remotes ate pretty easy and does not need a lot of geeky configuration. I am a self proclaimed remote control junkie and this is my latest preferred remote control for the last year. Way to go guys. Keep up the good work. I use infrared repeaters from my RedEye to control the entire house and it works great. I really like having buttons from several remotes on one screen. especially when I am watching a blue ray movie with the blue ray player, listening to surround sound on the receiver. I can play, pause and fast forward the blue ray, turn up or down the volume on the stereo and even change the tv input all from one custom remote. Or if the kids have the volume a little to loud on the tv in the other room. I simply turn it down myself. People who gave bad reviews. I'll buy your RedEyes remotes from you.

Excellent Product

Great universal remote! And now with IP control it is a really cost effective introduction to home automation.

Garbage

I wasted $50 on the mini and the app crashes every time I've tried to use it. I've reinstalled the app five times with the same result...don't waste your money.

Slow since update

Drac07

Since the last update, it takes forever for each activity to run. I've checked the delay settings for each command and they're fine. It just takes between 30sec to a minute before it even starts executing them. It would also be nice if the app would remember which screen I was on when I leave and come back. It's an annoyance to flip over to Facebook, have a movie get too loud, then have to go through the process of getting back to the app, going over to the Devices tab, pulling up the TV remote, and finally getting to turn the volume down. I've tried but can't figure out how to configure a remote for the "Watch TV" activity. The app automatically supplied one for "Listen to Music," although some of the buttons were grayed out on their own. Overall, I like this app. It's made my home theater very sleek and allowed me to have a wireless appearance in the living room. But there is definitely a lack of refinement and polish.

Outstanding

tmarshl

Took a while to get set up, but it was worth it. Manages a complex home theater system perfectly. A pleasure to use. Fast and responsive. I was an early adopter and found the support to be excellent.

Capable of many functions when working

zzdemp

I was controlling the world at first. Now I am down to very basic functions. As the program updates, the settings don't always follow. It really burns a battery quickly on my 4 & 4s. If I get an alert, it is way less than quick to get back to the program. None of my modules for lighting etc work properly. You have to learn as you go. For instance. On means Off on some gear now. Understand, this was setup for me. It was awesome until the world rotated.

Power button mishap

There should be a confirmation before it turns of when you hit the power button. We hit the power button many times by mistake.

Never works

LebronStefan

Very unreliable. Cannot control TV or music

Good reliable remote

KCphotographics

Moderate challenges in setting up. I control appleTV, monitor, directv, hdmi switch, projector, receiver smoothly- for 18mos- upgrades in past were rocky but seem reliable now.

Too slow

This was a great system until the latest update. Now it is awful and unfortunate. Stay away until it's corrected.
