Wanted to love this

Definitely not ready for prime-time. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews here. After successfully using a competitive product (L5), the RedEye seemed interesting. I wanted a second device for another floor in my home and the RedEye Mini is a bit cheaper. It is not difficult to set up but it is NOT RELIABLE. The software is unstable and the hardware is equally iffy in that you have to remove and reinsert it too much. It behaved the same in my iPhoner and iPad. I will be returning the hardware and the software will be deleted.

Avoid this hardware and software at all costs. The hardware is spotty showing on in iOS 5, the software either crashes trying to edit a device or reports a "network error" trying to add one. What a horrible mess!

Bought the red eye mini, tried the software. Crashes, sometimes stopped sending signals, and a day after using it, it stopped detecting my hardware.

I bought the RedEye mini, and it never worked. I tried it on a few devices, but none of them recognizes it. Terrible device.

Simply terrible. DONT but the Redeye Mini unless you have $50 to waste. Absolutely NO customer service or support. Do you hear us Redeye?
don't bother, doesn't work

It works when I run individual commands but when I go to use the remote it doesn't. Of course I have the volume all the way up but doesn't seem to help. Go figure?

Management team at ThinkFlood should be ashamed. Over two years on the market and the UI is still unorganized and carelessly designed. Anyone can buy parts for the Infra Red mini jack device at Radio Shack for $2.57 (including sales tax). An embarrassment to American technology. Began with a great concept then dropped the ball shy of the goal line.
After wasting $20 on the hardware...

It simply does not work. I'll plug in my redeye mini, and both versions of the app doesn't know it's there. I'm very dissatisfied.

Got it working with my iPhone, but I literally have to be 1 foot from my tv or cable box for the infrared signal to work. Every minute or so it locks up saying that it is updating firmware (it updated firmware about 10 times). After trying it out for an hour it started crashing the app on both iPhone and iPad, and is now completely unusable. Tried power cycling iPad and iPhone, and tried reinstalling app. Crashes as soon as redeye mini is plugged in. RETURNING THIS GARBAGE!
