Great flow between app and desktop

Not an upgrade.!!

It seems like a reverse update. Now we can't upload doc and photos from the app. No new features. Not an upgrade!

WHY?!.

Why take away the chat function? How are we to communicate with our team when we're not on a laptop/destop? By text? Or email? What's the point of a mobile app if we have to go to a web browser to view attachments? We're a creative agency and this completely hinders our workflow since we can't use the app to review and give feedback. Worst part is that the "view attachment in the web app" isn't even a link!!! So we have to have the app for notifications AND have the web app running to be able to search and see attachments — which completely defies the purpose of using a mobile app. New design & added colors are nice, but they seem so trivial compared to being able to see attachments and to communicate without having to leave the app.

Update renders app useless!

I just don't get it. It's like they want us to find a different tool to use. I have simply dealt with Redbooth up to this point, but I am now re-inspired to look for a replacement.

Thank goodness you didn't do to the core web product what you did to this app! Oh dear. Please fix. I essentially cannot use this. We've invested thousands in this. Setup a task and urgently fix please!

Love the new app ??????

So much cleaner and easier to use, absolutely love the update!

New version took away all my tools

As a project manager, I was accustomed to using the Redbooth app to manage my projects while on the go. I could review existing tasks for team members, create new conversations with clients and do general organization for projects, none of which I can do now. That was 85% of what I did in the old app. The current app still has utility as a means to check updates to already existing tasks and conversations and to manage my own tasks, but I can longer accomplish my project management work. It's pretty (but) disappointing.

Please fix this app!

I cannot effectively communicate with my team without Chat. I will have to revert back to text and email. I cannot see what my team is working on without Workspaces. Should not have launched this app without it. I now have to change the task dates in 2 places, Start and Due Date. Start date should be optional and off by default. I can't see the day of the week when changing the Due Date. Now I have to switch to my calendar to update tasks. My company depends on Redbooth and now it can no longer be used to communicate with or manage our team without being at a desk. Please fix.

Why not?

I'm having trouble understanding why we can't have most of the features of the website in the app, like conversations and files. That's like half of the usefulness of Redbooth. At this point the app is just annoying because the notifications are permanent until the task is complete. I would recommend taking note of the Frame.io app. They somehow managed to fit every feature (that I have discovered) from the website into the mobile app. Brilliant.

Limping in the right direction for sure.

If you are comparing Asana, Trella and others to Redbooth for an immediate decision and you require a highly funcational mobility solution that has seemless integration, sadly Redbooth is not your best choice today. However, if you want the best web and desktop solution and a support team that listens and is diligently working to improve the product being delivered, then Redbooth is your best option, hands down the best service product available and support team. The greatest weakness Redbooth currently has and the one aspect holding the product from being number one in the market is their mobility solution. The iOS app has been an "after thought" and "low priority." However, that is changing. This update is but 1 of 50 they desperately need but they are clearly working to make this product better and more effective. I greatly appreciate their current commitment and effort regardless of my frustration with the iOS solutions currently available. I've partnered our company with Redbooth for the long term so the short term is painful but not a "deal killer" at this time. I applaud the team at Redbooth for making the iOS apps a priority now and for investing resources to getting a quality product available to their existing clients. Please keep moving forward and thank you for listening and responding to the ideas and feature requests.
