This app stopped working! Anonymous Sober Recovery Chat doesn't function anymore! What's up?? I need my app back!

Another Tool For My Toolbox

This app has greatly helped me in my recovery. Every now and then there's a few glitches with the app (sometimes your post will not show up for others to view, but on your own phone it shows just fine). I don't like that when someone "tags" you, you won't get a notification. But other than that, the people on the app have a lot of really great things to say. The support we need is right at our fingertips!

This use to be the best recovery app around and then the sell out happened and now it is nowhere near what it use to be. People can make numerous profiles, flags of inappropriateness go unanswered, DM alerts don't work anymore, no response from email sent requests they fix, I can go on and on but what is the point. It is what it is an app painted with the sign of sobriety but beware all are not there for the same reason and a lot of off color things are allowed to happen behind the curtain on a ship with no rudder.

People just criticize

Old uncle is

A lot of people are quick to judge and put you down. Lots of fake people hiding behind profile talking a lot of hurting thing to make there horrible lives better.

Not recovery

What started out as a great idea has become an unmoderated place of toxicity. There is very little recovery here and is an unhealthy place. If you are looking for help and are in early sobriety, I would suggest looking elsewhere. If you are in recovery, to save yourself from losing any serenity, I would suggest you look elsewhere. No one is who they claim and everyone exists as fake ghost avatars. Recovery is life or death and this app just fuels the disease. Move on...

Great app... I use it everyday.

Lots of great people sharing ideas, helping others, supporting each other. A great supplement to recovery. Would definitely recommend!!!

Wow..

This app is just terrible. It's not user friendly whatsoever. Just don't waste your time. I was looking forward to using it but can't even figure it out. I'm not even high either; maybe it's just me and I didn't invest enough time into it, I don't know but I really didn't care for it. At least it was free.

Sober now

This is a great app. And a wonderful supplement to AA / NA if YOU are serious about getting sober!!!

Not particularly helpful

This app is supposed to connect you with other alcoholics. A. Not enough traffic on the app. It’s hard to come across someone you have anything in common with B. The app is glitchy. I finally found someone to talk to and both of our chats froze for half the day. C. Honestly? Go on Kik and find an AA chatroom if you’re looking for companionship or sponsorship or whatever. There are plenty of chat rooms and all of them are filled with people 24/7. This app is disappointing. D. If it makes you feel any better, the other alcoholic apps, such as Nomo, were also pretty much useless.
