If you're looking for support in your recovery I would suggest going to a meeting. Don't download this app thinking it will help you. I've only run across people who don't talk about recovery and are bullies. The app is a joke.

Only suggestion is to get rid of the 'send' button and replace it with 'enter', so we can make paragraphs when writing comments.

It is a hodgepodge of recovery, so not just for alcoholics, addicts but also for over-eaters, sex-addicts, cutters...etc. I didn't expect that when I got the app. So if you have one ailment as apposed to another you will need to look for "your people". There are tons of rooms that can be created by anyone at anytime and there is no limit. The topics are not always on recovery of any sort either. There is no moderator, so if someone is acting out there is no way to really get it to stop. Now for the good stuff... There is a meeting every night that is run well and is AA/NA based. There are people that really care about each other and about the new guy who wants to know how to stop drinking/using. There is solution shared with experience, strength, and hope that is grounded in the principles of the program and comes from a place of love and compassion. Basically it has its perks and its quirks. It, by all means, should not substitute face to face meetings and could use some re-organization.

Absolutely hate the new version. It only got one star because I had to pick one. Lost all my friends in the update. It is very complicated and not user friendly. I will be deleting! Not worth it!

The app was excellent until 12-29-14, they totally changed it and now it's beyond terrible

Newest update inserted a lot of ads throughout. Very annoying and borderline inappropriate in a recovery app. The almighty dollar wins again.
