I am always looking for ways not to use iTunes; I just wanted to record myself playing music, either on iPhone or iPad, and then select clips to import directly into iMovie. Also links to dropbox.

This is a very good sound or voice recording app, it's as good as any digital recorder that I have ever used. The clarity is impressive. And the length of allowable recording time is good for most anyone. Very cool overall app...
