Great Magazine but...

I enjoy reading this magazine, always has good info. But the app needs some help. It either won’t up 100% or freezes up and then ask you to update the app. It also won’t buy/ download new issue of the magazine.

Great magazine, app can be improved

Recoil is a great magazine with lots of info! All the reviews and history about firearms, and war is awesome. The app is ok, and I hope the kinks will get worked out. Not being able to access some of the magazines is a real let down.

App ignores my paid subscription can’t download new editions and worst of all deleted all of the ones that I had.

Agree that this app should work without Internet available, but till that’s fixed - if you open the app in the terminal when you have Internet and leave it up in the background, you can read on the plane. QED. Great magazine with a good point of view - keep it up!
Garbage!! Absolutely Useless!

I subscribed via iTunes, with a confirmation that the material would be downloaded shortly. After over 12 hours, with multiple attempts to “restore purchases”, as well as an attempt to subscribe again (received the error msg that I was already subscribed), it *still* has not downloaded the content or provided me with any ability to do so. What a useless pile of steaming garbage. Don’t waste your time or your money. Update (8/31/18): Response to the app owner’s comment. No such “download” button exists. I’ve clicked the “Restore Purchases” multiple times on different days. No change. Also, why do you suggest that a PAYING customer not download more than one issue at a time? If I want to pay for a device with more storage capacity to hold more content, I should be able to use it as I see fit. The only change I’d make to this review is to remove the 1 star I gave it originally if I could. Based upon the developer’s response, this is even WORSE than I originally thought.

Renewed for a year in December 2017, despite repeated attempts to login and restore purchases etc, I can’t download past the March/April 2018 issue. From then on it’s asking me to resubscribe Even attempting uninstall and reinstall the app didn’t work Next step is to get my money back if possible
Good content, worlds worst magazine app

You have to tell the app that you are a subscriber and re-log. Every. Single. Time. This has been going on for years, and the fact that they don’t care enough about the readers experience to fix it is a big F U to their customers. In this latest update it won’t even restore purchases.
Apps getting worse

The magazine is incredibly good, my all time favorite since the first issue was published. Unfortunately this app has only gotten worse over the years. Just purchased the Nov/Dec 2018 and the app crashes every time I try to open it. I'm currently across the pond and can't go out to my local store and pick up a copy. Aggravating to say the least, makes me think it's time to conduct a zipper drill on my iPad. Keep up the great material though, hopefully I can get caught up soon.
