I love RS!

RGZ2341

I read RS on my iPad mini on the train to work. So compact and easy to carry!

Works great now

I had no problems with app on my iPhone up until the update but, I'll be honest, I was too busy over the holidays to download the new issues. When I got my iPad last week I went to catch up and found out my sign in 'wasn't authorized' to see the digital issues. After a quick email to the magazine, situation resolved. Now that it works I'm pretty happy!

Great magazine, Good app, small complaint

I love RS magazine. I enjoy reading it on my iPad. My complaint, and I realize it's a bit silly, is the icon. My newsstand icon will not update ever since the special weddings issue came out. I like seeing the most current issue when I look at my newsstand main page. No other magazine does this just Real Simple. I emailed the magazine, and they said it was a problem with the app and they couldn't fix it. No biggie, I'll keep reading it. If they could fix the thumbnail, it would get 5 stars.

Bookmarking?

I enjoy reading RS on my phone, it's very convenient & accessible. However, I wish there was a way to bookmark or highlight an article or product like I can do with my hard copies. Maybe in future updates???

Great content - So-so app - Bad attitude of Time, inc. IT

Subscribed to this and Sunset. Sunset worked great..then NOT. Called and told .."Well, you only pay for content..we determine how to present it" And went on to describe that they are going to generic PDF format for all mags...1 size fits all. They have determined that previous method (having links available for touch as well as tabs' took too much work" When asked about taking away functionality without notice (wasting my time trying to make what once worked happen) "We can't be bothered to notify users of changes and Apple won't let us anyway" I guess customers be damned...what a great paradigm for business today.

Its ok but

The magazine is ok but I can't get rid of the ugly Cover for the wedding issue.

Great magazine...minor complaint

Love this magazine. Great content and the digital version is done really well. It feels special and isn't just a scanned copy of the print magazine. Minor complaint...The Real Simple icon that appears in the Newstand shelf has been the special Wedding issue for SEVERAL months. I'd prefer to see the cover of the current issue, so I can see the newness. Seeing the Wedding cover feels SOO stale - especially since I'm not planning on getting married any time soon.

Love it so much!

As the mother/step-mother of 3 very unique individuals, life is never dull. Two of the children are incredibly resourceful & self-sufficient. The third (and oldest) either forgets that he has a project altogether or just doesn't care. Getting this child to do anything is the most stressful thing in my life. The battles span the gamut from his wearing deodorant to washing the sheets I purchased for him 5 months ago (and he hasn't laundered them not even once). THIS, my friends, is where Real Simple comes into the picture. Aided by the fantastic articles, checklists, demonstrative photography, plus the handy take-along apps, I am never without the calming influence that is Real Simple. While one very small corner of my life is in total chaos, thanks to Real Simple, the important parts of my family's life is fresh, comfortable and organized...all thanks to Real Simple.

Easy-to-use app

Love this mag, and the e-version is easy to use. A little annoying when i accidentally open the link to an advertisement when I just want to turn the page.

So far, so bad?

I tried to download the first magazine. It had a non-network problem. Now it only gives me the option to buy the magazine. After I paid for the prescription. Not "real simple".
