My old review WAS "Very cool" but......

JJ/OBSIDIAN STARK

I used to be a die hard fan and beat it several times over HOWEVER I downloaded it 3 times on a new phone in the last 2 days and it freezes on the '$25000 rookie' page and I can't play it! ALL 3 TIMES! I want to play and give you guys 5 stars again but you gotta fix this bug! PLEASE!!! Old review: Realistic graphics, great response time and interface, and extremely fun. Its a nail biting good time! Well worth the money!

Bugs bugs and more bugs

Racermcracer

The latest update has a bad bug for the HUD and the cockpit of the car plus the multiplayer has a ranking bug which bugs me (no pun intended)

Gran Turismo in your pocket

Just as the Gran Turismo series established a benchmark for what a realistic racing game could achieve on a console, the Real Racing series has done the same on a mobile platform. RR2 has built upon the foundation of RR, with a number of improvements that make it feel even more like the best of the console racers such as GT and Forza--licensed cars, a rich career mode, car customization, more competitors, and a much-welcomed ability to save and back up progress using Firemint's Cloudcell service. I've been playing games since the original Atari 2600, and the Nintendo Game&Watch series, and it's astounding how far the state of the art has come. Looking forward to RR3. Revisiting RR in 2016: It's been a long time since I've fired up RR2, but after I did, I was in for a bit of a shock....until I discovered that it doesn't work with my current iPhone. The RR franchise is an object lesson in what happens to a game, and a developer who has been acquired by a larger company, in this case EA, which carries a reputation well-known "reputation," and not in a good sense. RR was a fantastic game, unsullied by the freemium model, with a great community, and a responsive developer. All of that is now gone, and it's a crying shame. To the early supporters of Firemint, it's a slap in the face.

worst update ever!!!

I have been a big fan of the real racing series for quite some time i have 2 mobile devices a iPhone 3gs and iPhone 6s i play real racing 3 on my 6s when I'm at home but when i'm at work i always loved playing real racing 2 on my 3gs with this new update i can't even play the game anymore it's sad you need iOS 8 to run a game from 4-5 years ago where all you need is iOS 7 to run real racing 3 fire monkeys/ea why in the heck would i play real racing 2 when i can play a newer game on a newer device stupid and pointless update!!! the only reason i liked this older game was because it worked well on older devices why update the game when players would rather real racing 3!!! i'm done playing both real racing 2 and 3!!!

Beware!!

The old version of RR2 was a great game. For $4.99 you could play unlimited without having to spend more money. They intentionally put bugs in this new version to force you to buy RR3 which milks you out of big cash to make any significant advancements. Very frustrating!!
