Wish they would go back to this

This game is amazing. I wish they would come out with another paid version and not ruin it with Freemium model.

They LIE - They removed online play

False advertising - they removed online play. Terrible. Sad.

No Qualifying = Cheap Grindfest

In addition to my previous complaints, the latest update messes up the aspect ratio and lighting. The developer's website is no longer available for support so this has now totally become a cash grab based on outdated reviews with an unsupported product. I used to recommend Real Racing 2 to people who wanted to experience a racing game based on somewhat realistic driving physics with practices and qualifying, and no free to play baggage. They've removed a key feature to that, which is qualifying. Without the ability to practice and qualify, you're forced to fight from the back of the pack no matter how good you are, which forces you to outspend your opponents to get a car that laps them without trying rather than having a good, tough race on even ground with a worthy opponent. Now all that's left of RR2 is a game with reasonably believable physics, fake tracks, and old graphics. I suspect EA detected players migrating away from RR3 in search of good racing and worked in an update to make sure there were no longer any key features to keep players from spending time on the IAP treadmill of RR3. If you're a someone interested in motorsport in general, I would recommend checking out some of the rally focused games available on the App Store (like Rush Rally 2) instead, and pick up a console or PC game to get your tarmac fix because unfortunately there aren't any good track racing games without the worst aspects of free to play left for iOS.

RR2 Hits The Wall

Well, they finally wrecked my favorite racing game. Real Racing 2 was my absolute favorite, until the latest update, which screws up the aspect ratio of the display and stretches the view horizontally. Totally wrecked the experience for me. My guess this was done to force you into the new RR3 and its lousy pay-to-play "free" format. I'm done. I will now pursue other interests while on the toilet at work.

Electronic Arts more like Eat A**

What happened???

First off I would have to say I was a huge fan of the real racing franchise. I have been playing real racing 2 ever since I got my first iPhone, this was the best rated and the most realistic racing game in the App Store or even the Mac App Store back in December 2010. But over the last couple years they have slowly killed real racing 2. When real racing 3 was released they came out with a series of updates for real racing 2, some of the early updates weren't that bad, but some of the later updates completely removed multiplayer, iCloud backup support and disabled older devices from playing the game. Now the only way you can play is to have a newer device that supports the iOS and even then the game has been gutted some much I won't play it. I love a lot of things about real racing 3, but I used to love going back to my 1st gen iPad or my MacBook Pro playing some of these older games. Ever since this update I deleted what was left of real racing 2 and I don't support or play real racing 3 anymore. I uninstalled both games all together. Formula 1 and Codemasters here I come!!!

I love the game so much. then when i got a new computer to only discover that i could not buy it. then i paid the five dollers on itunes and it did not work.

Good. Could be a little better.

This is better than Real Racing 3 in three categories. You can set up individual races, control the AI level of your opponent and you don't have to keep downloading new race events and lose more memory like on Real Racing 3. Having said that, the game is fun but doesn't go quite deep enough like Real Racing 3 does. Also the number of cars to choose from is limited. No Porsches??? Are you kidding me? In the real world Porsche would be racing on at least several of these circuits. Having said that, the game is worth the $5 to purchase it although I wouldn't pay any more than that.

Addressing negative reviews!

I seriously don’t know what you guys are talking about. I don’t think they screwed up the aspect ratio because it works just fine for me, albeit i have been playing it on an iPhone 6s running ios10.3.3. Maybe the problem only affects lower end devices and/or ios with jailbroken devices!?

Great app!

The graphics are not horrible. It is a great and affordable racing game. Don't listen to the other reviews - this is a really great app. It totally is the best realistic racing game on the app store and everyone should totally get this.
