Are there other apps that do the exact same thing? Yeah. Are they pretty much all the same? Yeah. Is it better if you pay for the pro version? Duh? I like this app in particular because it feels enough like an actual metronome. Would be nice to have it change to landscape on the ipad though.

I am a retired pianist playing duets for fun with another mostly retired pianist. We are attempting the First Movement of Mozart’s Symphony #40 in g minor, the First Movement of Beethiven’s 5th Symphony in c minor, the first part of J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #1, Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in d minor, and Selections from Georges Bizet’s opera Carmen. This is quite a workout! We would be in deep trouble without your wonderful metronome. It is very intuitive and responds perfectly! Thank you! Bob Crowder
