Softer downbeat, no instructions, irritating sounds

I've had this app for a few years and opened it today with the question, "Why don't I ever use it?" These are the reasons: 1) no instructions. 2) The downbeat weaker & de-emphasized instead of a stronger sound. It has a softer volume & higher pitch. 3) The sound choices are odd. I'm going to find another metronome app which I will use.
Becomes less responsive with usage

If I reinstall, interaction with the UI is very snappy. But with usage, across 2 days, performance suffers tremendously making the app virtually unusable. Might have to do with the core data being stored? iPhone 6 (iOS 10.0.1)

App works so I paid the price to get rid of the annoying ads. After that it sort of forces you to write a review. Not nice. If it weren't for that I would give it a 4+.

App is great! It works as I expected; however, it gave me a tough choice: to rate it or to say I didn't like it! So, I had to rate it because I liked the app, but I didn't have time to rate it. There should be a choice to rate it later or give a neutral rating. I would have rated it 5 stars if this didn't happen!
