Need Bible devotional guide?

IBeDisappointed

An excellent app for daily quiet time to help read through or listen to the Bible in a year. I've used the app for several years. This app has helped me listen to an audio reading of the Bible using different schedules. I've followed a devotional guide that went from Genesis through Revelation in order. I'm currently following a "thematic" schedule which goes through Bible books with similar themes - for example, the Bible books of Genesis and Hebrews tell us about Abraham's faith. So, Genesis and Hebrews were paired at the opening of the schedule, and so on I've used the app to guide me through a "contiguous" reading through the Bible - for example, some scholars believe the book of Job is about a man who may have lived about the same time as Abraham. Abraham is introduced in the book of Genesis. The schedule opened with the first 15 chapters of Genesis, then went through the book of Job, finished Genesis, and so on through the Bible. Bottom line - the app is helping to keep my devotional time interesting as I go through the Bible yearly. Your Word, O Lord, is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Great app!

This is a fantastic app for my King James Bible reading. I found a mistake moments ago in the app for today's Bible reading. I am using the Tyndale one year plan, and the first reading for today is Leviticus 13:1-29. I then noticed that for tomorrow the reading in Leviticus is chapter 14. The problem is that this skips verses 30 through 59 in today's reading. Please correct this. Thank you!

THE app for daily Bible reading

I started using this app on January 1st. Two months in and it's as good as I hoped. Many different plans are available and it's easy to get started. Also use on both my iPhone and iPad and it syncs perfectly. Thanks - this app is a blessing.

HB214 - Still The Best!!!

The title says its all, "Still The Best!!!" This app is well organized and maintained with MANY reading plans available including a way to create your own plan. I am nearing the end of my year long commitment to reading God's Word thru chronologically and have already determined to do so again using this app. Thank you so much and please keep it updated! ??

Love it!

By far the best reading plan app available. Great selection of reading plans. I started using this because it allowed me to create my own reading plan. I also like the progress tracking feature. This app has some excellent customizations available. I would love to see better sharing and Bible integration capabilities.

This rating is based on the performance of the app, not the content. Every once in a while I will open the app and it will have unchecked all my readings and sets the starting date to Jan 1, 1970. It won't let you change it or check off any more readings. The only solution is to delete the app and redownload it. I have done this about 4 or 5 times now. Please fix!

Great app!

Love the app and the plans. Just one issue. When opening eSwordHD from the plan, I don't get directed to the scripture I am to read. I have to change it manually.

Excellent, Flexible App

My wife and I have been using this app to guide our Bible reading over the past year, and it has been a great help to us. After reading through the Bible together in 2015, we started 2016 by slowing down to read one book at a time along with a commentary or two, plus a Psalm or Proverb every day. We've been using ReadingPlan this whole time to guide our reading. Creating a custom reading plan and adding it to the app is very easy, and I want you to know how much we've benefitted from your app. There are a couple of features I'd like to see at some point (e.g., syncing across devices, the ability to create a custom plan without using a Mac), but that doesn't detract from how useful this app has been. The ability to craft our own reading plan and put that plan on each of our iPhones to follow together is fantastic.
