I paid for an annual subscription last April 2020 thru iTunes. Yesterday, for some reason it logged my daughter out and when we attempted to log in with the email we used for the subscription it kept prompting me to subscribe again. I checked my iTunes subscription, it was still active and not set to expire until 2021. Then I saw an email from Account @ ReadingIQ stating the account has been terminated because they couldn’t process the $7.99 monthly subscription. I’m not enrolled in a monthly plan! Sent an email to customer service and I get an email to contact iTunes. My problem is not with iTunes. It’s the app that does not recognize the email I subscribed with which is the same email as my iTunes account. Then as if adding insult to injury I get a follow up email asking me how their customer service did! My daughter and I love the app but I don’t want to pay another $39.99. Feels like a scam, pretending to give you 50% off the 79.99 annual subscription, but they lock your account in the hopes you’ll pay another $39.00 to use it again. So frustrating.

I canceled this subscription because my son no longer uses it and I keep getting charged the monthly fee.
