Fun Game but Build Time takes forever!!

I like the game and it’s fun to play but honestly the build times and promotion times needed for upgrades are sometimes 6 days or more? That is utterly ridiculous basically forcing you to buy gems. Also, you should be able to promote multiple squad members at the same time instead of waiting for one to finish and then promoting the next squad member. Every aspect of this game pushes you to buy gems to speed up the process of building your squad and defenses, skill points earned for leveling up don’t even put a dent in the amount of time needed. Skill points used for “promotion time” reduce the amount of time needed to promote by maybe 10 minutes, which is equivalent to watching 1 advertisement. It would also be nice if I can use my gems for exactly what squad member I want to buy instead of randomly choosing for me. It’s my money I’m spending on gems I should be able to choose what squad members I want to purchase with those gems, instead your at the mercy of the “random drawing” each time you purchase a card chest. Fix these things and I will change my review to a 5 star rating. 2 stars for fun factor alone. Knocked 3 stars off for promotion time, build time, and random card drawings that basically waste my money on cards I don’t want.

I feel like the concept is cool but it just doesn’t hold up to the more polished games. It feels like a weird arcade version of boom beach. The troops aren’t exciting or very interesting. It’s hard to compare them to each other so I would just be randomly picking my squad for any given battle. It was fun for a few days but then the flaws in the mechanics started showing. There isn’t a huge downside to loosing a raid so I eventually stopped trying to defend my base. Because upgrades take so long you don’t really need to raid because you can just farm the currencies needed in the down time. It just got really boring really fast.

This game is just a knock off of all the Supercell games put together. It has the concept of base building from Clash of Clans, the island concept from Boom Beach, and the chest opening/card concept from Clash Royale. The attacking other people’s bases is pretty cool, though. But other than that, everything about this game is super slow in terms of user interface. Even loading the game is slow. Wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone. I’m just playing because I’m already so invested. Don’t download!

I love this game so much, for sure my favorite. I love the pvp mode. But I would love to be able to pick which cards I’m buying.

Was fun but not stuck in continuous raid loop with no way to progress

I accidentally hit level 30 before upgrading my base and now there is no way to progress. It is impossible to hit 500,000 coins to get more defense and at level 30 I got an addition dock to progress so now I just get raided every 5 hrs and can’t get to the next level base to be able to sufficiently defend. Shouldn’t get another dock before your base is capable of defending properly. Horribly planned just stuck in a loop with no way to ever get enough gold to get further. Just going to have to delete the game at this point because it is pointless now.

One star for this version because no improvement made. It's like this version released just to remove bad rating in previous version. Below is my previous review. Good Game Idea. 3 stars: They have innovative idea. Shooting and bullet game. Lot of action. Lot of explosion. Tower defense strategy. Squad building strategy. Skill tree. Great for the first day, then it becomes too slow, repetitive and impossible to win in the next day unless you spend more than $100. Don't expect to have great experience when you spend just a few bucks. It's nothing. But still 3 stars for a good game idea. Bad rewards system. 1 star: Leagues last for a month (30 days). Rewards only for top 3. 1st place only got gold which you can get for a day or less. No special limited card. No special building. Not even an accessories for being the best. Temple of reward needs months to give reward, yes months in real life time. We have legend leaderboard which is not giving any rewards. And couples of other kind of leaderboards, none of them giving rewards for the best. Except clan leagues leaderboard, I mention it earlier, it's not interesting or motivating. Daily login reward is useless, believe me I play for 45 days now. Also this game needs too much dedication, you need to play for 3 hours more per day if you don't want to lose trophies. You can go trophy hunting for 2 hours and then lose it all in minutes, heartbreaking. The game just don't give a fair reward for hardworking players and you know most of dedicated players spend lot of money too, they deserve more than "thank you for playing". Community manager. 2 stars: They only have one person (Ice) to answer all questions in global chat and forums. Ice is like a myth, when you see him you know you're lucky. He only answer what he want to answer. Most of question left unanswered. I don't know maybe they have more people there to manage community forum, but where are they? Graphic design. 3 stars: What bother me most is the character design seems to favor "big" guy with big belly, you see lot of them in this game. Sure some characters has good design, but only a few and they're not a very good card. And the designer really loves sylvester stallone, you clearly see some cards are stallone parody. Just see at the app icon, if you think it is lame then you're with me. I give it 3 stars because they put a good amount of effort in creating nice graphic. Could be 5 stars if they care more about what people want to see. Overall, 2 stars. Fun if you just want to see explosions. not fun if you care about in-game competition and satisfying achievement.
