Can't progress bc of pay to play

Cmoore012

Op pay2play, you can only get your characters up to level 4 and then you have to start buying stuff to progress. Almost all the levels are too hard to play. Greedy developers ruining another iPhone game is all it is, this game had potential too. There are levels where you can win cards but the only way to beat those levels is to put up some cash to buy cards. Game is useless after lvl 4 base. Greediness is ruining iPhone gaming

If you aren't disconnecting from the servers every minute, you'll have to deal with the money hungry pop ups and the linear, repetitive gameplay.

Too many gems

Lurks jaggy

Need to improve offline play and make it easy to battle without spending gems.

Another gem factory with potential

Enix71

Almost impossible to get gems without paying (means pay to win clique). Has potential with ad reducing time but limited vision over how it's used. Long waiting times. No replay to watch defenses. An interesting game overall but held down by shortsighted greed.

Fun but buggy, slow, and very little content

Raid HQ is a fun game, with fast paced action and some base building, which requires some planning. But it becomes repetitive and goes nowhere real fast. The pvp system is unbalanced because you can always search for new bases until an easy one comes up, so losing a defense is guaranteed. Pvp matching leads to easily exploited results; ex. one of the top players is a lowly level three because it's vastly easier to get trophies and raid other level threes, than to advance and pvp with engaged players. Dailies have been bugged for a week, supposedly will get fixed next patch, but who knows. App had this problem last month too. Have to spend gems to do dailies, which are totally not worth it. It would come out to $1 per raid, which lasts a few minutes and gives mostly meh rewards. Very little pay off for gems/spending money. I bought some gems to support the game and because I found it fun initially but the there is no new content beyond the initial stuff. I kept exploring but got nothing new beyond a few initial island raids. Upgrading eventually takes 12h to 2 days per upgrade and progress becomes a crawl. Rules keep changing and are otherwise untransparent or arbitrary. There was gold nerf recently, which vastly changed my upgrade options and game play. What kind of pvp payoff, in terms of number and types of cards you will get, is unclear--although there are clearly determinants, we are just not told what they are.

Worth five stars

This game is amazing with similarities of clash royale and I say more like galaga with all the shooting. Takes a little learning curve to play right however the largest downside is difficulty. Some parts of the game are too difficult to beat until you pay or play for a long time. Other than that I recommend the starter pack gems and hoof it out as its well worth every penny I have spent and every second I've played

Decent game. On major flaw

NOS562

The interface to bring up slow mo and activate another squad member is super glitchy. It never activates when I want it to and does when I don't. Plus if u want to activate a super and then switch immediately after its difficult. Put the supers and squad members on the main interface. Or use a button to bring up the menu.

Wow/10

Clash royale meets boom beach but there is a twist. This game has a great art style. The reason this game is so fresh is the attacking, it is nothing like what I have seen before. Base designs take a lot of thought because of it.

So close to perfection!

The game itself is fun. Great art style and I love the SHMUP mechanics of it. It's just the whole "free-to-play" / upgrade system is what throws me off. I wish it was just a premium game. I would've gladly paid $5-$9 for it. I deleted as soon as I saw the whole currency system.
