If you were a RO fan do not bring your expectations to this game. To say this game is a shadow of the original is an insult. This game is a farce that only uses the name and stylistic features of the game we’re still fond of in hearts. It’s a disgrace to use it’s name for such a pathetic game. Every time a Ragnarok game comes out for iOS I still have some (little to none) hope that this time is for real, but man oh man do they never fail to disappoint. If you never played original RO then you might not share the same feelings as I do. But Gravity… for the sake of any fan of the original game, just quit… don’t even try anymore. When will you ever learn? Your games always have garbage ratings which means you’re doing something terribly wrong. Anyway… I’ll be here to rate another one of your horrible games should you choose to come out with one again

The first 45 levels will be very easy(due to quest) that’s how you get reel in, as soon as you pass those, the game literally just becomes a pay to level, win, anything basically. For anyone playing this game you have been warned. Btw I played the original ragnarok online back in 2008 so I’m a huge fan, this game is a gatcha game so it’s understandable, but to this extent it’s ridiculous. How’s a legendary pet 700$ plus USD lol. The best way to level for free to play will be doing your daily’s which you get 80 tickets daily and only enough for 4 or so commission, also another form to lv is afk battling, which you only get 120 min daily to get xp and also to farm. There Black Friday special was 80$ USD for a outfit lol. Sad sad sad

Targeting is bugged: often monsters couldnt be targeted. Mercenaries sometimes mysteriously disappear as if they got defeated. Game crashes often when big group of players are involved. Not a bad game overall. This game’ll get better eventually.

This game have some pluses and ton of minuses. For ones it’s just a cash grab. And because of this there is so many unnecessary items and different currencies so it become really difficult to keep up or even understand what is going on. People just want original RO with updated graphics, a little bit of automation (to keep bots at bay, biggest problem of old Ro) but not this.

I payed more than a 100 in this game for progress and I really dislike paying too much for mobile games. Ragnarok is FUN yet frustrating progressing lock against Free to play players in this NA server. Everything cost Eden and zeny to progress. Although it is free to play as I stated it costs too much a HIGH BURDEN to progress in the game which caused many players to quit. You are given 2 hours of exp and material grind before going to exhaustion which after surpassing that limit prevents you from gaining exp,materials and Eden currency. Instead of the original grind you get Daily Quest to help gain Exp and Eden coins which sometimes isn’t even enough. You’ll be finding yourself running out of coins in order to buy pots, pay to upgrade your weapons and armor, making food and potions, dismantle unnecessary equips, maintaining pet, paying Eden coins to gain medals which in order to gain extra attributes. Partying is very beneficial and yet required to beat story mode and heilheim. However due to people quitting and how hard the difficulty on F2P players they end up quitting. This game is designed for you to feel the need to spend money in order to progress. I heard other servers in Asia are more generous in prizes and gifts than here in NA and also some mechanics are missing in NA that other servers have.There are some positives when you play which is the community in ragnarok. However I’m really starting to get frustrated with so much pay to progress in this game. I feel like it could be a dead game in less than 2 years. Some people payed thousands in order to upgrade their weapons, buy cards that give major advantage on pvp and pve as well, clothing for extra attributes. Their Black Friday 2 part armor/mount sale cost nearly $100 or more which is ridiculous. I love Ragnarok but this is a heavy cash grab. If you’re just a casual player who is very patient, give this game a try, you don’t have to pay but it’s gonna be a long grind.

It seems that the comment section is filled with bunch of 12 year olds who have not played a game even for day and already are giving it a nasty review. As a RO veteran who played this game in much worse graphics with much less to do on a thing the size of your microwave let me share how I feel about this gem. GRAPHICS: you are playing on a handheld device something that was barely runnable on desktop PCs 20 years ago. In much better graphics, that still give you that same ragnaroky feeling. Sounds like omega WIN to me. STORY: there is a TON of things to do. By the way, for those complaining. YOU DONT HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING. Yes, you may fall behind, but you will enjoy what you choose to enjoy and RAGNAROK has always been about experience and community, not about who has the strongest weapon. PAY TO WIN FACTOR: It may shock some people , but you need to make money from games to be able to maintain those games, pay team members, etc. In example of RO, yes it does feel a bit pay to win but within reason. I feel it’s simply because it’s early in the development and those who are “ paying to win” actually spent thousands to do so by now, so who is really winning here?:) CONCLUSION: give it a shot. Few days not just an hour, and come back, a week after to see what’s changed. This game will last. Thank you Developers for this amazing piece of art and good luck on your roadmap to Valhalla.
