How do I invite friends?

de@dhead66

Disappointed with the instructions. Would like to play with family m era but cannot figure out how to invite them. Instructions don’t provide answers or place to co tact for help. Bummer!

Great game but needs an update

benjaminzweig

Love playing this game w family across country, but the app needs an update. We have a hard time figuring out how to play each other and now when we submit moves, they don’t always go through. We would pay for a better version. Just make one!

Scoring

Lkebngrppdoff

This game is loads of fun, except it does not keep score correctly, a single Qwirkle scores 12 points, but if also you have side connections then occasionally it will score those in also, but the majority of the time you'll still only receive the 12 points, fun game but not fun when it doesn't work properly

Not fairly random

Heavenly***

When playing “robot” the games are not random but constantly rigged to give you no choice but to give quirkles to your opponent. I play very well with friends but this is not fun but frustrating.

a family favorite

Scolding a Banana

Delighted I can play online against my kid off at college. Interface for setting up online play is a bit clunky & non-intuitive, but we figured it out.

Please update!

Most notably we need notifications when it’s our turn in online play! Thank you!!

Fun, but delays in game start

Tonsil-free

Generally nice rendition. Starting a private game with friends is an odd experience compared to other online games we’ve played. There is delay in the game starting and I wonder if it is because we are cross platform: iPhones and an Android in the group. It also doesn’t tell you that you are in a game until it is your turn. Also noticed some odd little bugs. A couple time the first player was unable to place their tiles down. The score summary at end of game was also inconsistent, showing different stats for the same game in different players’ phones. Fun game , but a little more work needed to tighten it up.

Great App but needs a couple things

BDM8

This is a great game to begin with. The app definitely does a fantastic job with game play. I would rank it 5-stars but I’ve just had several instances where online games don’t show up on my screen but it’s there on a friends. Also, there needs to be a notification on when it’s your turn when you are playing online if you don’t have the app open. That would make it a 5-star app! Overall though it is great!

Frustrating

JMC3NY

Great game and plays smoothly. Graphics are very good and it operates without any hitches. The issue is playing vs the computer. It’s supposed to be hard but there is a consistent odds defying lucky streak that makes it likely I will use stop playing. The freakishly high % of three tile and high point moves that immediately follow my Qwirkle is amazing. The uncanny ability to make long three + tile moves and then somehow get back for the next move three more tiles that can be played is stunning. Furthermore the magical ability to always seem to possess the key tiles when I leave the slightest opening. I have played often since I purchased and I feel there is enough of a sample to conclude. In summary - it’s a good looking smooth version of Qwirkle but playing the computer in Hard mode is like playing with someone who looks at the tiles in the bag before they select one.

Losing my games

m0moose

After thoroughly enjoying this app for months, it started to lose the game I was in the middle of when playing robots. So if I don’t finish it the same time I start, close the app overnight, I’ll have to begin over again! I love playing on my phone but wish this one problem would go away!
