After downloading this app, my commitment to learning and understanding the beautiful Holy Quran has increased many times over. From the daily notifications to the beauty of the aesthetics of the app — I have been able to dive deeper into the Tafsir which has been exceptionally put together and I use this multiple times a day! Convenient for iPhone and iPad and the customizable options for listening to reciters, bookmarking progress, highlighting ayaahs and reading translation does not compare to any other app on the market.

This is an extremely poor and extremely offensive translation of the Quran. I consulted an Islamic scholar about Surah 4:34. The Imam told me that this was one of the most misinterpreted / mistranslated verses. This specific Arabic word for strike meant to touch with no more than that of a feather. This translation makes it sound as though it is permissible to physically harm one’s wife. This translation also uses the word, “niggardly,” which is extremely offensive and completely unnecessary. There are many other words that better express the meaning of the Arabic word than choosing a word that is phonetically similar to such a hateful and hurtful expression.

Extremely easy to use and read transliteration if you can’t Arabic. The Arabic is also very clear, this app is my favorite.

As a Sunni, I’ve been using this app for a while and it’s great for anyone who wants a simple and clear Quran to study from. I’ve all three versions for different goals, but I mainly use the English (obviously as an English speaker). I hope that my fellow other Muslims do not hesitate to download it just because the tafsir is based on ahlul bayte.

This app is amazing it gives me an opportunity to read the book of Allah. When you flip the pages it seems so real as if you are turning the pages yourself. You can zoom out and zoom in whenever you want. Overall this app requires everything you need to remember and read the Quran.
