I've only been playing it since May 20, 2016. Anytime I get the chance, I'm on my phone playing QuizUp. I really recommend this app

i haven't played in a while, and was immediately annoyed when i first opened the app to discover ads covering every inch of the screen. good job, guys, this was once a great app.
Last Version Was Better

The last version was better where you could search for people based on their likes, location, age, gender. I made lots of friends (real people) that way. They took away that option. Now I feel like I play robots half the time.

I love this app. I've been playin for a month and a new category came out called name the mine craft item and I'm 1st in my state and 7th in the USA (18th) in the world, it's the best quiz app and fun to play with friends!!
Ads Have Ruined This Game

This used to be an Ad-free game. I never understood how that business model could survive, and sure enough, it could not. It's now full of annoying ads. I've deleted it.

This app used to be SOOO good, but the creators tried to turn it into a social media or something. You used to be able to play as much as you wanted without having to pay, and there were no ads. Now there's an "energy" system and an absolutely awful and wannabe social media setting with followers and statuses that you can post. NOBODY LIKES THE ENERGY AND GEM SYSTEM. I understand ads to make money and charging a fee to have an ad-free experience. I would pay AT LEAST 3-6.99 bucks or something in a heartbeat to have no ads on the old version of this game. But I don't understand butchering your old game and implementing a trash cash system that nobody likes. I used to play Grey's Anatomy, League of Legends, World of Warcraft and General Knowledge topics with my friends all the time and it was friggin' fantastic. Even during class our teachers would let us play the US History, Math and other topics, and I even got teachers to download it on their phones themselves to test their knowledge in their favorite fields and they really loved it. However, it's awful now and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you want to be annoyed and fork up cash to have something remotely similar to the old version of this game. Don't waste your time. I'm now off to find a better app that does what this app used to do for me and my friends.
