Smh. Revert back to the original. – QuizUp® Review

This app used to be SOOO good, but the creators tried to turn it into a social media or something. You used to be able to play as much as you wanted without having to pay, and there were no ads. Now there's an "energy" system and an absolutely awful and wannabe social media setting with followers and statuses that you can post. NOBODY LIKES THE ENERGY AND GEM SYSTEM. I understand ads to make money and charging a fee to have an ad-free experience. I would pay AT LEAST 3-6.99 bucks or something in a heartbeat to have no ads on the old version of this game. But I don't understand butchering your old game and implementing a trash cash system that nobody likes. I used to play Grey's Anatomy, League of Legends, World of Warcraft and General Knowledge topics with my friends all the time and it was friggin' fantastic. Even during class our teachers would let us play the US History, Math and other topics, and I even got teachers to download it on their phones themselves to test their knowledge in their favorite fields and they really loved it. However, it's awful now and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you want to be annoyed and fork up cash to have something remotely similar to the old version of this game. Don't waste your time. I'm now off to find a better app that does what this app used to do for me and my friends.
