I am a beginner and this app is great. It won’t let me enter a two digit number in the pieces to yardage calculation

Apparently I am not bright enough to use this app!! Tried entering numbers—nothing happened. Tried entering yardages at the beginning but Nothing happened. There is no tutorial at all. UNSATISFIED!!!!!

It used to be great. Now the app won’t open. It just constantly sits at the home screen with a spinning wheel.

Not pleased with this calculator. For an 80 x 80 quilt it said I needed 7-1/2 yards which is waaaay more than I actually needed. Not happy that I spent so much more than I had to and have so much fabric left over that I can’t use for anything else.

I've been using this app for over a year and really like it for quickly calculating binding and borders. It has not cut me short on yardage calculations, if anything estimates a bit on the plus side which is not a problem for me. I would miss it because it's my go to now rather than the old calculator. Quick and easy to use.

I am wry disappointed in the calculations for borders. Usually one to three strips too many, resulting in a massive waste of fabric. Please fix calculations and issue an update! Thanks

Math hurts my head!! This app has been awesome!!!! With a touch of a few buttons, ahhhhhh (heavenly chorus sings) we have the results! Love this app! Love Robert Kaufman fabrics too!

This is my “go to” app for calculating fabric needed, especially for borders and bindings. I make between 5-10 quilts each month for Project Linus. There are two improvements I would like to suggest: (1) I always use 2.5” strips to bind. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to set that as a default (with the option to change, of course) instead of having to manually insert that preference each time? (2) The same for borders. I almost always use non-miter borders. I can’t tell you the number of times I cut an additional strip because I neglected to change the calculation parameters to non-mitered from mitered (which is the default). Two minor tweaks would make this girl a very happy quilter.

I have been using this app for quite some time. I love it! It has never let me down.

This is the best app to use to calculate the fabric amounts needed. I worked in two quilt shops, and this was a valuable tool for me. I’ve been using it for several years now. The fabric amounts might be more generous (i.e., number of binding strips), but I have learned that having more fabric than you need is infinitely better than not enough.
