I used to use this app and really found it very helpful, but alas the app is broken and no longer functions since the iOS update to 10.0.2. As another user said, this app was simple and elegant. The only functionality I felt was missing are two functions. One, I want to be able to share and reconcile my list with someone else's Quick List app, so for instance, my spouse share his list of what we needed from the grocery store. Two, while the app allowed you to add or edit individual grocery items to suit yourself, the grocery categories that the app provides (e.g., Dairy) could not be altered or added to. I would like to have customized them to conform to the way my grocery store organizes and stocks its shelves. As I said, though, that is all in the past tense. Since the update of iOS to version 10.0.2, the app just stopped working completely. I force quit the app and restarted my iPhone; I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Neither worked. Unless these bugs are fixed, the app is useless and a waste of money. Zero stars if I could.

Update 10/23/2016: this app WAS perfect (previous 5-star review is below), but with the latest iPhone update, it no longer works properly. Doesn't look like Quick List has had an update since 2013... I HATE the thought that I'm going to have to find a new app. This one was exactly what I needed. PLEASE update it so it works again!! (Original review): Any other grocery app I've tried is too cluttered and makes me LESS productive. I almost went back to old-fashioned pen & paper until I found this gem. Simple. Quick. Efficient. No bells & whistles, which is perfect. The pre-loaded list of items is really extensive, which is a bonus. Developers, please don't get sucked in to the notion that consumers want more. Your app is perfect just like it is.

I love this app! The only thing is Apple keeps telling me it's needs to be updated and it is slowing my phone. Another is if they do make an update I would like to have an option to email and/or somehow send my list to someone for instance my husband. Otherwise I love this app!!

I had a different list app that felt a little clunky before I installed this one. I thought I was happy with it. Then I tried this one, and the minimal, user-friendly feel won me over in the first few seconds of use.
