I love this app, and use it all the time!

Zombies rock like hamsters

I use this app pretty much any time I’m on my computer (MacBook Pro, 2014). I’m an aspiring programmer (teaching myself Java right now, building apps in Android Studio, moving from C++) and I use this app any time I program. Really any time I’m on the computer. Which is a lot. I bought Premium almost immediately when the free trial ran out, and it's been worth every penny. I’ve made tons of shortcuts for running programs, debugging and stepping through lines of code, switching pages, etc. I even built a couple for quickly creating a new class with/without constructors, pre-built to my preferred settings, all at the push of a button. I admit it’s not perfect though. Moving between pages of shortcuts manually is clunky, although it usually automatically follows you when you move to a new app (brings up the Chrome page when using Chrome, Spotify page when using Spotify, etc). Creating new pads is simple, but time consuming. The interface on that could be ironed out, and copy/pasting Actions would come in handy a lot. It would also be nice to have a desktop version of the app, if only to simplify building Pads that are more complex than just a hotkey. Oh, and sometimes it would be helpful to be able to make actions that call other Pads. Other than that, I love this app to death. Mostly I’m just super excited for the next set of features to be added!

A laptop remote!

LittleLyssssa

This application is awesome and everyone I've shown it to agrees! You basically can remotely control your laptop with your phone or tablet, and there are so many different functions to choose from. I don't have any real "complaints" about the functionality of the app itself, but I hope in a future update the developers will allow you to change the color of the icons to something other than white. Because you have the option to choose your own picture for the backgrounds but I find that I have to change the pictures I want to use quite a few times in order to actually see the icon clearly since the white doesn't show up too well against any lighter background. But other than that I think the developers did a phenomenal job with this app and I feel it definitely deserves more recognition than it gets

Great concept, but seems like they've given up

Patimen

There are a LOT of features listed as "coming soon". Do NOT buy this app in the hope that any features will be coming soon. The lack of updates from the company clearly indicates that nothing at all is coming soon, they are probably going to stop updating all together. You may find the features that exist to be enough, in which case you should go ahead and buy it, though it's unclear what will happen to your subscription if they give up. I understand being an independent developer is tough, but this lack of communication and broken promises, particularly at this price point, is unacceptable.

Requires exposure to external resources

Embeddedgeek

There is no need for an external resource to control local devices. Probably not secure or will gather personal information

Must make an online account? Are you spying on me?

Hank_T

Why would I be required to sign in to your online service to use this app? If the account is required, does that mean you're sending information about my actions to your servers? If the account isn't necessary, then why am I forced to create an account at all? Either way, you're using this app to track me which is unethical at best. And on top of that, you want a yearly subscription? No way.

Very Much Like the Potential

Mp315

Very much like what Quadro is capable of and can see how it can majorly improve my workflow. As of now, I'm waiting for features that are marked "soon" and would love the option to hold down a pad which holds down a key at the same time. Otherwise, don't mind the price for this app.

Would love to see color customization

It would be great if you could customize the colors of the buttons.

I tried… really, I did!

James Randorff

I loved the idea of this app. Creating one-tap shortcuts and sorting them into context groups is a fantastic idea. Unfortunately, despite spending over an hour with the app, the online tutorials, and a couple YouTube videos, I found this to be basically non-functional. Even the pre-programmed shortcuts (e.g. iTunes control) did not work. Most items had several greyed-out options that said, "Soon." There was no option to select a menu item, click a button, or press a numpad key (as opposed to just a number key, which offers different functions in many programs). The tutorials need to have less snark and cutesiness, and more teaching you how to actually make things happen. The online support is woefully archaic, forcing you to hit the "back" button instead of offering collapsible text.

This is the worst thing ever

hushsu

I don't write reviews but god forbid I don't tell people how bad and a scam this app is. I downloaded it and also had to install the software on my Mac. It took forever to connect and after a while I wanted to delete this and uninstall it off my Mac. For at least an hour whenever I try to uninstall it, it tells me I can't because the application is still open. But there is no way of closing the app. My computer could not even detect that it was an existing application. Such a scam!

Brilliant Idea

Jbenk7

I have been waiting for what to and following them quite some time. The reason, they have a GREAT idea. So many time I wish for a simple way to access specific commands in a program. For a while I didn't have a need for it. But then I returned thinking I could use it. But was severely disappointed to see yet another subscription fee. While this may be so useful, I don't think it is worth a subscription... Possibly a pay once... But not worth it continually. Especially if only 5 people have reviewed this and primarily very low rates. So. I bid you adeau.
