App works as intended, but they have done literally everything imaginable to make the ads as intrusive as possible (constantly prompting you to purchase the ad-free version for $2). Makes the app unusable. I do NOT recommend.

It generates/creates incorrect web addresses - it will always prepend "http://" to the front of an address, even if the address already has a protocol such as "https://". So you end up with invalid "http://https://" formatted web links. Creating "Text" QR instead of "Web" QR lets you type the address as you want, but then I couldn't even test the QR code to make sure it worked... Why? Even when given permission to access your Photos, it shows a blank library. I couldn't scan the possibly-broken QR codes to test them since the scanner is also broke. When I grabbed another QR scanner, it couldn't find a single valid QR code generated by this app, Web or Text. The Support link for this app isn't even valid. It just takes you to a placeholder website.

I am sure that the app is "safe and secure" but what happens after is questionable. I scanned a product to find/buy more, it took me to a page that said it found 6 store options(no names)and I needed to click on the link to see them, then it took me to a "phishy" looking website that immediately presented what looked like malware intent. I should've known better- YOU NEVER CLICK ON A LINK that you aren't familiar with!! My last scanner app gave me a list of several merchants with prices/info all on one page within seconds of scanning- no clicking! Just be aware of what you click with this app.

This app is a perfect example of why people hate the App Store.
