The QR scanner is working fine for me on iOS5 and I understand having an ad in the app since its free. However, there are two ads, one at the top of the screen, one at the bottom. There is also a popup every time you open the app forcing you to choose whether you want to upgrade. It doesn't impact the scanner itself as its on the previous screen. However, it is extremely annoying.

The only QR Code reader I have found that does not mis-interpret Apps URLs for plain text. Yes 2 ads & an alert are overkill, but does not affect the core functionality. Developer, consider user's frustration. Reviewers, giving a poor rating is no way to impove an app. You can write to the developer privately.
