The “Pulse” Of The Future

R-MacCO

This app is great!! If your really think about it, this app is dynamic and can greatly reduce the need for having physical therapist visit after surgery, and enhance any experience if a nurse were to come out for a house visit! I’ve used this app everyday and it provides a closer connection to the patient and the doctor post surgery. Keep up the great work and continue to expand/enhance this app!

Less medical care, more distraction

The real purpose of Pulse is for you to have less interaction w your surgeon’s office. Kind of a do-it-yourself recovery. I hated the app from the the start and eventually just deleted it. As one patient said — and I think it’s wrong and shortsighted — you can do without PT and OT home care. Why would anyone actually WANT that?? To save your insurance co money? Over your health? Your health is already secondary to insurers. W the app the doctor can monitor a number or recoveries — in other words, you’re now an average. What a lousy way to be looked at.

Great app - really helped me with my recovery

The app really helped me understand my care plan, the video instruction is great. Any questions I had I was able to easily communicate with my doctor. I recommend that everyone should use this app!

I love Pulse! It was very valuable when I had knee surgeries in 2017 and 2018. It kept me motivated and positive. Each morning during my recovery I would go thru the list of exercises in front of me on my phone. Since I don’t normally exercise, the photos were helpful. While recovering from each surgery, I needed to contact the surgeon. I sent an email and within minutes, I received a response. The Doctor told me to take a picture and send it back to him. Again within minutes he sent a message. I have had many different surgeries in my life but none of the recoveries went as smoothly as using Pulse!

Invaluable

I was especially pleased with the fact that I could contact my physician directly about important issues. I was encouraged by his office to contact him instead of waiting until next time he was in office. I only used it 4 times in 8 weeks but each time my physician responded promptly. It helps to make your contact short. I am a nurse so this was easier for me. When I had a question about healing, I was able to send photo-which was invaluable! Great app and will definitely use again if necessary. Loved the way it counted the days!

Your best friend during recovery

Tom from N Potomac

This app is the best friend you could have during recover. You are not alone during this difficult period. All of your questions and concerns are at your fingertips. The doctors are there to give you feedback when you need it. Your recovery plan greets you every morning with exercises and support that always remind you that “you are not alone”!

Love the app

Gimpy no More

I’ve had a few surgeries and always get a handful of exercises on paper and who knows where they end up . This was so convenient to watch exercises. And getting asked the few questions everyday about my progress and pain level was spot on. Very happy with this addition. But really, hope I never see it again.

This is an informative, encouraging, invaluable tool for recovery. An added bonus is that you can converse with surgeon in real time with questions, concerns, etc. The journal is wonderful feature for tracking your progress.

Wonderful App

When you have an issue that you are unsure of, you just ask and usually someone responds within a short period of time. I felt like I had the doctor or the PA available all the time.

The Doctor has been most helpful and responded quickly to the two calls my daughter made. Even on the weekends he was available and we appreciate his support so much.
