This does a good job as a terminal, but it doesn't seem to be iOS 5 aware. I can log into a remote server, edit a web site or configuration file and save the results. The rub is checking the results. If you switch to safari to check the result, pTerm terminates and logs you off as soon as safari comes up. Don't even think about reconfiguring a firewall like Shorewall remotely. It is too easy to get logged off and locked out.

I use it all the time. I like the "tunneling" feature for the built in web browser. It makes getting past the proxies at work easy.

I can log in to remote servers without any problem, but I can't paste text in to the terminal. This renders the app nearly useless for sending long commands that have been cut or copied from another source.

This app doesn't leave the terminal open if you switch tasks. It also does keep the terminal at full screen based on orientation, you have to keep scrolling down in portrait mode. I also do t think this app is being developed based on the support forums and lack multitasking.

The app worked fine to SSH to a remote machine. while typing in commands the line would cut off in a weird place , making it hard to delete characters . In VIM some artifact characters in green showed on every line and the arrow keys wouldn't move the cursor.

Being able to use airplay where the terminal, X or anything would be on the other screen and keyboard on the iPad would be fantastic

No copy/paste or multitasking support. Doesn't seem to be actively developed anymore. Customer support outlets (forums, google groups) are broken or unattended. Decent core functionality, but in the end, I opted for Panic Inc.'s Prompt instead of this app.
