Exactly what I needed

codykniffen

Needed a quick way to SSH into my various network devices, AppleTV included, and restart /monitor services and background daemons. A few bugs but nothing to gripe about. Works for my needs perfectly.

Ok, but some issues

Willchil

This app is pretty good, and it does everything it needs to do, but its got a number of issues. Sometimes the top of a list of printed text is cut off, the back button disappears, and it would be really helpful if it had a file browser for downloads, and if it could takr advantage of the ipad keyboard dock's control, option, and arrow keys. For me, its still worth it though.

Does not work.

Vaquxine

Lags and crashes constantly, do not purchase.

1.4 rocks

vsigler

the current 1.4 version let me sign in to our HP9000 and accepted the key and was able to get around like putty!

Ok but not great

fkrueger

Not very well adapted to the iPad. Would like to see curser keys near the keyboard in addition to an escape key. Multiple sessions would be nice too.

Spring for iSSH instead

Immamoonkin

It's not a bad little SSH client, but the terminal emulation has a few bugs in it and its feature list is unacceptably small. Even the free zaTelnet has a better feature list, including automatic resizing when rotating the iPad. (pTerm's terminal emulation is better though.) iSSH costs five dollars more but supports everything pTerm is missing and more. Spring for it instead.

not bad

monkeywobble

like all other terminal apps in the app store this one isn't perfect. big holes for me are lack of screen rotation when holding device horizontal and lack of support for CTRL/ESC keys on bluetooth KB. terminal emulation is pretty decent however. I'll keep it on my iPad until someone finally get a terminal app right. ability to do port forwards is awesome, if only they would stay running when switching to the browser/another app/another ssh session.

Wow!

Nato Echezabal

This is insanely amazing! It's almost like the desktop client. Of course I don't believe we might even reach the app to that point. I was able to connect to my server and control it perfectly. It's amazing. PuTTY itself does need to update and so does this though but it's still all that I wanted and more.

Looks like I have the same complaints as everyone...

Keygen crashes on ipad2 - but seems to have worked. I would love it if it would leave sessions open when you fire up something else. Also, arrows should be on the top bar all the time.
