Okay so let me start off by saying that i'm a bit of a sucker for trivia. I don't spend money on it or anything like that, but I still love it. Besides this game, i play both HQ and the q. The second one is pretty bad, between the q and this game, i'd just have to say that i actually wouldn't have to prove it ;) Okay to the review: - the good: >this app is very good about giving everyone a fair shot to win. No host, no "one" winner, just a 1 v 1 game unless you enter a tournament. >free game each day! You get one game a day where you play for free. You don't win money directly from this game, but if you score really good 3 days in a row, you'll be placed on the leaderboard somewhere and have a good chance to win money. >Questions aren't too berserk. As long as you know general trivia and some more specific trivia, you'll do fine. >Questions don't get progressively harder. > you get 15 seconds each to answer. -the bad: >it's as hard to win the weekly leaderboard as it is to win HQ. although it pays the top 20, my highest score was about #80. >time counts in scoring. You and your opponent can get everything right, and you can win or lose because you put an answer in earlier. This brings me back to the leaderboard. The winners have scores that correlate to all right answers, and given before the first second. This is hard to do because you have to read, no one does that for you. > you get money for your signup, but if you lose your first game like me, you're stuck with about 50 cents in your account. This is less than the 1$ buyin to play a non-free game. >questions repeat a lot. Very small pool of questions. I've seen the same question in almost every game i've played this week. If it helps me, imagine who else it helps. This is advantage someone has over me, and an advantage I have over someone who just joined... -DEVELOPERS: >add more question depth. For example, i've never seen a music related question. Rock and roll is coming up, but thats it. > a lower denomination games. Ex: i have 50 cents in my account i can't do anything with unless i win the weekly leaderboard. A 1 penny wins 2 pennies, 5 cent, 10, 25, and 50 would help out the less privileged not only win, but encourage the stimulation of your in-app economy. > consider an in-game tax of 1-2%, use some of this to give people that lost EVERYTHING a penny or two, more if they've purchased money in app. Not everyone has the will to play a 1 penny game for 2 pennies, but it's a good symbol to show that this is a really fair and rational game.

Reason being I gave it one star is because it’s stating that I’m not of age and I’m 20yrs old going on 21 on June 9th. Every time I insert my DOB; it keeps saying must be 18yrs of age to play prove it, that has to be fixed and then I’ll change the rating.

Dont play unless you can get 10 out of 10 correct every time! Huge waste of money. Lost every game I answered 9 correct.

I was unaware of a withdraw made from my account. And they failed to give me a refund. I read the Terms and Policy and I followed the necessary instructions. Unfortunately my money still hasn’t been added to my account.

It’s cool but only if your nice at trivia like that. Like I lost 10$ but it’s whatever if your good at certain topics it’s fun though

When I first downloaded this, I whooped everyone in all matches with my starting $3 I added ten when there was a “bonus” for another ten. I am a pretty sharp cookie, but got beat literally every single time even when getting every question right. So, apparently all other players are experts in the field once you pay money. Don’t fall into this trap too!! Something fishy here UPDATE: In response to developer: You’re right, there is absolutely nothing “fishy about knowledge”. That’s why I was referring to your app as fishy. Your generic responses aren’t fooling anyone.

You win your games, until you add money. Then lose it all. People answer within MICROSECONDS! it’s ridiculous. Not even a computer will tap an answer that fast! I want my $20 back.
