Video scrubbing within this app is annoying

I love this app. The only thing I have an issue with is the video scrubbing. It almost seems impossible when trying to skip through a video to not accidentally pull down your notifications tab on your iPhone and get locked out of the app. I used to never have this issue so something must have changed recently. I think the scrub bar either needs to be a bit farther from the top of the screen or just on the bottom. Other than that great app!

Issues importing video on new iPhone 8

Having issues importing videos on my new iPhone 8. The app just freezes up. All updates are current. On a more positive note all of my media transferred when I restored my phone. Thanks

I’ve had Photo Vault for a long time, it’s a great app to safely store more sensitive photos and videos. I love the fact that you can easily transfer files through iTunes as well. However, there are a couple of features that I think would make this a perfect 5-star app. 1. Video playback is less than ideal. It is as if the app opens a new page to play videos and then you have to click “Done” to exit and watch the next video in the album...I should just be able to swipe to the next video (as with the Photos app) or even have an option to let it auto-play to the next video in the album. I also think the scrub-scroll feature it not good, often times I end up opening the Notification Center when trying to do so and need to type in passcode again and find myself on the main page. Would be more functional to scroll through the video in a similar fashion to the Photos app, in my opinion. 2. No iCloud backup support. I’m not sure if this is an app function or a limitation by how Apple’s iCloud backup works, not crucial for me but would certainly be a huge plus. When I got the new iPhone a couple of months ago it did not tranfer ANY of the files in the app after I restored from iCloud backup, it’s as if I deleted and downloaded the app from scratch. Luckily I had also made a backup through iTunes so I re-restored from there. But it defeats the purpose of backing up on iCloud, which I do because I do not have any storage space left on my Mac, so this would be a great feature to have as well. Overall definitely an app worth getting if you have any photos/videos you’d rather not have your friends/family/colleagues seeing while they recklessly scroll through your photos, but the app design feels a little outdated and non intuitive as with some other photo apps (such as iPhone’s own app). Updating that would definitely have me giving this a 5-star rating, and if iCloud backup support can be added too that would be a huge plus.

I like the app overall, but one thing I’d like to see is a cloud backup that can Box, Google Drive, iCloud or even Dropbox. Just an idea is all. Mahalo

I had 3 years of my grandchildren and family pics and videos, and i moved everything to photo vault.. well 2 weeks ago I went to add some more for what I thought was safe keeping, and they are gone. I have asked for support and assistance on helping me find them and getting them back, and not once did anyone try to contact me. What a scam this app is. If u dont care about your pics and video, then use them.. u have been warned

It would be perfect if I could put files other than pictures in the vault.. also.. if there is a second layer of security on one of my home screen pages like a hidden page where I can put apps which I don't want others to access.. it might be complicated to integrate an app with the phone OS.. however, developers can work on locking a user grouped apps.. anyways.. the Photo Vault is still the best for an extra photo privacy.
