Failure to launch

I couldn’t get this to work on my XS. Downloaded the app, tapped the button to initiate charging, placed my phone on the pad...and nothing. Tried moving the phone around to see if the position made a significant difference. It did not. I even took it out of its protective case, which I never do. Fails the NNG design heuristics of providing users a way to recover from errors as well as help & documentation to investigate reasons why it might not be working.

Never been able to get a charge and three different times it drained the rest of my battery trying unsuccessfully to get the ring to connect to the mat. Thanks for literally nothing.

I was curious as to why a charger would need an app, but I downloaded it anyway to give it a fair shake. Unsurprisingly, the app does absolutely nothing; you tap a button in the app to start charging, set your phone on the powermat, … and absolutely nothing happens. Good thing this app is free, because I don’t even think it’s worth that much.

Sitting in front of a Powermat ... the app doesn’t even show the location I’m sitting at in NYC...however, it did suggest a location in CT...pretty sad.
Good idea, but bad app..,

Downloaded the app, inserted the “ring” in the phone, and placed it on the Powerpad. After 6 attempts, same error message, “Cannot detect...”

I’m at Starbucks in Santa Monica sitting at a table with Powermat charging circles built into the table. I downloaded the App and asked to borrow a Powermat ring from Starbucks.They said none of them work. I’m going to delete the App.
