Use the Powermat App to switch on any Powermat Charging Spot. The app will keep you up to date with news from your favorite venues, and will direct you to the nearest location with Powermat Charging Spots when you are running low on battery.
To enjoy wireless charging, launch the app, "tap to charge” and place the device on the Charging Spot to start charging. If your device is not embedded with wireless charging, plug the Ring and place it on the Charging Spot. Powermat Rings can be borrowed from most venues and can be purchased at store.powermat.com

I have a iPhone 8 plus with wireless charging I don’t want to use some circle crap if I I could give no star I would give this no star it is stupid how I bought a 800 dollar phone
Doesn’t work without a ring for iPhone X at Starbucks.
So the powermats currently installed in Starbucks today do not support Qi wireless charging yet according to their website. An update is underway to support Qi charging, so they say. The only support the PMA standard whatever that is. Needless to say won’t be able to charge the latest iPhones at Sbux for sometime without the use of their ring adapter.
Vapiano implemented powermat wireless charging spots in their stores in New York and Chicago. The app is completely overhauled and actually used by the restaurant for nice messages, videos and best is: free goodies. So, it makes really sense to get it to get the perks coming with it.
Why do I need an app to use wireless charger in the first place? Why do I need to enable Bluetooth? And the app is telling me that Bluetooth is off even though i turned Bluetooth on and off multiple times and reinstalled multiple times. I have the iPhone X.
Requiring people to download an app to charge their phones is maybe the dumbest idea anyone had ever had ever.
So I took my phone out of the case ready to charge my phone in Starbucks! Little did I know I had to buy a ring! A charging ring. This is ridiculous! Starbucks and where ever else fools you into thinking you can charge your phone just like that! I thought it would be easy because Starbucks has free WiFi so why not free charging?? Anyway not buying a ring because I don’t go to Starbucks much!!
No support for wireless charging devices. Why do I need a clunky ring? When I have a wireless charging phone. But it’s not “allowed” it’s ridiculous.
i’m sitting right next to the Powermat charging spot, my bluetooth is on and the app can’t find my bluetooth or its own charging spot. Instead, App keeps telling me i should buy its ring
