Seriously, computer needs to be on wireless?

PowerDVD 17 Ultra Home theatre PC, hooked up to home network via Ethernet, running PowerDVD iPhone 7 The remote control app on iPhone cannot find and connect to PowerDVD on the same network. This app needs the computer to be on wireless and not wired? Even though phone and computer are within same network? If app is not compatible with PowerDVD 17 then change the QR code which brought me to this wrong app! If app is compatible but demands computer to be on wireless, forget it. I want my money back.
Garbage does not work at all!

Just wasted 5 bucks on an app that does not work at all! After opening it for the first time I search for pc, find it, and then nothing happens! Freeze up. I will never buy a cyberlink product again I fed up. I wonder no longer why people download pirated software as companies rip people off!!!

If I could I wouldn't give any star at all. This app can't find my computer. I used to use the free version, and it worked for a while the stopped. Next I decided to have this paid version (because I used to like this product) but it acts the same way. I've been so patient but it seems they won't fix the issue. This is a waste of money and space on my iPhone. ?
