Im being generous here

MikeSouthard3

I am a very open minded person, but this game just was terrible. For example, i made 10m from shipping, and then i took one of those risk deals with a time limit. I got there and my ship was detained for 60 days due to an epidemic. i lost 4m. thinking it was a fluke, i tried another. the samething happened.. 5times in a row with 2 different ships this happened. and the entire time i was losing 200k-1.2m every week becasue someone stole it. Now i went from 10m to being in debt because of a bunch of garbage. I made a new profile, went through all that again, and got to 10m. then the exact same stuff happened. I have quit playing this and i don't recommend this game at all. It is absolutely terrible.

I don't see why

But it really isn't that hard to figure out, despite what people say. Just find a good trading route and stick with it! There are instructions though.

Dont listen to those idiots this is the perfect app

This is the best clasic game in the app store. it is a really fun trading game. you will play it for days without it getting boring. The perfect app

WHAT A GREAT GAME!!!

Captain_Sam

I was a bit skeptical at first, but after playing the game have become addicted!! It's somewhat realistic to the shipping world (I work for a shipping company), which is probably why I enjoy it. I could see why someone who is not familiar with the shipping industry could have trouble, but if a dumb ex-sailor can figure it out, keep at it!

I'm dissapointed

You think they could have tried harder..... All I got to say...

Wanted to like this more

It's taken me a while to write this review as I wanted to give the game a fair run. And to be fair, the underlying game is good and has sufficient depth to keep you going. But, and it's a big but, the graphics are terrible. For an iphone game to compete, graphics are important. We're not in the 90s anymore, and while this game may have its roots there, the developers needs to realise they are just that, roots, and not the substance of the app. There is no room for nostalgia in this cut throat arena. That said, the actual game is absorbing. With control over ships in your fleet, cargo, destinations and budget, there is a lot to keep you involved and if you need more, there is the actual steering of the ship to manage as well. So, will I continue to play it? Yes but truth be told, I'm not sure for how long. It could be such a good game but the experience is so poor. With other high quality games now appearing at similar prices, this one fails, badly, in the main raison d'etre for iphone gaming.

The game is too hard

Perfect port of a classic game!

Wakama

Awesome job guys! This game brings back a lot of memories from my Amiga 500 gaming days! It has the exact same look, feel and sounds as the original classic. Please don't change a thing! For those critics who can't appreciate the beauty of a classic, please also make available on the iPhone a version of your more updated PoC Sim3d or PoC XXL. Thanks for taking the time to make this available on the iPhone.

Boring!

Don't buy this app. I bought it because I thought it looked kind of interesting, but unless you are really interested in the boating industry, don't buy this. Plus, the text is really small an hard to read, and the graphics are really bad...
