What people are saying about PolyNome:
------
Peter Erskine (Steely Dan, Weather Report, Steps Ahead, Kate Bush):
“PolyNome is great for teaching, practicing and rehearsing. Tempo input by way of the number pad is a terrific feature, and the subdivision possibilities are endless. Plus, this is the only metronome I’ve used that you can actually LEARN from. Simple and brilliant: simply brilliant.”

Will Lee says...
"Wow! Polynome is a brilliant tool for drummers and any musician! It allows you to understand precisely what subdivisions among bars of time feel like, teaches you the drum rudiments, and so much more. I love "time check" where it'll leave bars of silence in between bars of click to see if your groove stays in time. One of the best apps for your toolkit!"

Reviews

Great app for musicians
Seqouyah

Love it! Absolutely a wonderful app; however, an in-app-purchase option for a bass machine that you could program to coincide with the drum lines would make it outstanding. Who knows? Maybe the person who designed this app will collaborate with a bass player/app creator, and something like that will evolve. For now this is as good as it gets for my iPhone, and I'm loving it!!!

Great App!!!!

Best Metronome on the the market
Super Connor 999

When I first discovered this metronome from Joe Crabtree's videos, I was thinking " It is 18$. Why would anyone buy a metronome worth that much?". But now that I have got it, I totally understand the price. You can do anything you can dream of with this metronome. Polyrhythmic practice, done. Programming your entire practice routine, done. Creating a setlist for live shows, done. This metronome makes my life so much easier when I am practicing the drums and I would recommend it to anyone. 18$ seems like a lot, but its cheaper than any other physical metronome, and has 10 times as many features. Buy this, right now.

Awesome app

Love making beats in the app then playing along and practicing them on my kit.

Nag, nag, nag.
DonRWatters

It's like we're married! How many nags does one app need. In-app messages...not enough. Push notifications...not enough. Pop ups as soon as the app opens...not enough. Need a login to get the things that the app works with...not enough. Pop up to ask if it should track my practice time...not enough. Popup to ask me to rate the app...not enough. There can always be more. Why, when I'm paying for an app, does it need so many things to get my attention? I just want a metronome. I guess two physical metronomes that just click would be less annoying than all of the nags. If you're going to nag to get a review...it's going to be a good review. My preferences are already set to not get any notifications...and yet, here I am talking about all of these nags. I wonder what it's like to have ADD and have this app. You're not likely to even get to practice.

Ridiculously awesome - more than a great metronome
Ghent did

I've bought most of the popular other metronome apps. It was a waste of money. This app goes sooo much. A great metronome. Can down load rudiments, including the sticking. Which is great for teacher/student organization. Automatically keeps track of practice logs. Can increase tempo over time, which I love. All is dynamically controlled and a pretty short learning curve and there's great instructional videos. Very very happy with this app. I downloaded it today and am learning all the many bells and whistles. Two things I might have missed, but I don't think they are there is I don't think this is cloud supported so iPad and iPhone don't sync. Also, I would like to have the option of brighter visual cues. Again, these features might exist and I don't see them. I don't write a lot of reviews, especially long ones. Very Well developed.

This is a awesome app!
Albeano20

This is a great app! Joe Crabtree has been so helpful when I've asked questions and he's responded quickly. This app has a lot of useful stuff to help you grow in your drumming.

Love it!
Drummerthe1st

This is the app I should recommend to anyone who is a drummer or even just any kind of musician. This is an app that is just absolutely amazing with anything that a drummer could want in a metronome app. I only just bought it today and I'm already loving it! Don't go for the $8.99 one. Just go straight for the $17.99 one because that's the one that has basically everything. I'm hoping that if I figure everything out, it will be an even better experience!
