This app is the worst

I have followed Politico as best I could for some time. Normally the app worked, though often it took 2 tries to open it. But suddenly now, Aug. 29, I find it's stuck on Aug. 25 as it has been for several days, obviously. And reading these reviews shows that others have gone through the same ordeal. Find better software! One star, grudgingly.
Long Standing Refresh Problem

Once again the Politico app fails to refresh. The same articles have been showing for 4 days now. Restarting the iPad and even reinstalling the app does not solve the problem. This has been a long standing bug in the app and I can't understand why it is still not fixed. Love Politico's content, hate the app. I just pull the website up in a browser now as the app is too much frustration.

Enjoy the app but it hasn't updated content in days. It says it's updating but no new content appears.

Love the content. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes reading five day old news. The app simply won't update- pull down repeatedly, uninstall app and reinstall,etc. it simply won't update. Was this app written by some high school kid who didn't even learn the basics? Totally lame and embarrassing for a major news outlet. FIX IT!

Please fix your app for it refreshes & updates the news. I count on Politico to deliver current news. Not news that is four days old.

The app has not updated since the 25th. I tried resetting and reinstalling the app and it still won't update. Such a shame considering how often I used the app.

Love the content. Trouble is the app hasn't updated in a week. Doesn't do me any good. They need to address this-now.

It does not update and the stories are at least 5 days old. Occasionally a new one will pop up. I cannot understand how they allow this.
