Ballistic Scare

I live in Hawaii and we experienced false ballistic threat on Saturday. It took 45 minutes to notify the public that this was a false report. I turned on the police scanner and heard that this was a false threat. I notified family members that this was a false report. I can’t imagine what it would feel like to not have been aware that this was a false alarm.
Make the X box bigger to close the Ads

Good lord, the ads are annoying! And 70% of the time you can’t see to close them off the screen. Radio is decent but for some reason I have connection issues were the transmission is garbled but on the Computer it’s fine. Also a different background option would be nice. The white-text on black screen is hard to read.

I'd like to say this tells me where/what local sirens are all about but usually by then the police talking to dispatch and such has already taken place. However it's an interesting thing to listen to to fall asleep to! I don't mean to but the voices and radio background noise are often kind of lulling! ?

It’s cool that i can hear wats going on in my ol neighborhood but lately I’ve been getting extra background noise that isn’t part of the scanner traffic. Today was really loud n sounds like a jackhammer n i today have heard this sound more than scanner traffic. Can this b fixed please? The sound today has really got the nerves rattled. B appreciated if u can fix this..at first i heard alot of scanner traffic n now it’s gotten to b just noise. Thank u if u will fix this for me ???

I used to tune in to long beach California station when I herd activity in my neighborhood, but that area was for whatever reason shut down, don't listen anymore, very dissapointed

This is not a bad scanner and I do use it often. It could be better and I wrote to the author with some ideas but he never wrote back. Had he written back I would have given it 4 stars but since he did not I deducted one as support is part of the review. Update: Downgraded to 2 stars as I've been emailing the author and he never responds.
