I love this app, I’m in the know about what’s happening and can be ready. I’m using this in pair with Waze for reports, but overall it’s cool to listen to.
Bugs and perpetual full screen ads

-When given access to my Location the app cannot find any scanners in my area-one of the largest, most populous, major metropolitan cities in the U.S. Scanners close to me, are retrievable only by working thru the menu, State>County> City etc etc. -Popup ad obliterates the entire screen and will not dismiss. The links in the ad are dead and selecting one of them does nothing to dismiss the ad, so, the user is locked out of the app. Update: downloaded another scanner app, Police5-0 and while it too has popupads, they easily dismiss and are not nearly as intrusive. They also don't make the app freeze!

My son in law works as an EMS and for our fire dept. This app helps me keep up with him! I listened to some of the hurricanes that came through Florida and Texas last fall as well, was good to know what was really happening out there. I was able to pray for them and warn my father who lives in Florida to get out of town.

I really like that the App works on the latest iOS. My only issue is not having my local Police Dept. available but this app works great.

I got this app so that I could listen to my local police but it doesn’t have it. It would be nice to put in scanner feeds or frequencies. I can listen to County Sheriff. It works great other than that.
When I hear sirens...

When I hear sirens I open this app and since this is streaming there is just enough of a delay over the net that I can hear the dispatcher tell the emergency vehicle where to go. I just typed the longest sentence of my life. What comes after a sentence? An appeal!!!
