While there is a lot of information, I don’t know how to look at trends easily. For example a chart or graph of daily heart beat. You can see some what by week. Data needs to be more flexible to see trends with
I use a polar verity sense with this app. Most times it works. But about 1 in 5 times it will just fail. Yesterday it worked just fine. Today I ran my 3rd fastest 5k and it registered as 8 calories. 3 blips on the heart rate chart that correspond to when i was looking at the app to verify it was recording. Support is unreachable. I would avoid this if you intend to use the data for more than passing curiousity. Update: I am reducing my review to a single star today because after functioning fine for two weeks it completely dropped the ball on my longest run to date today. This is nice app, but you can’t trust it. At a minimum it should emit some kind of audio alert if it looses connection or other anomaly.
I was a long time Fitbit user till google bought them. Lowered quality in devices and impending fees for data frustrated me enough to change. I used Polar heart rate monitors before (great quality) and checked their watches. More comfortable fit, great quality, all the features I needed in well priced device.
I like the design of the Polar Ignite 2 but most of the times has issues in synchronization. You need to sync very often, otherwise you loose the data. In addition when swimming, the touchscreen stops working!
I use the polar flow app together with my Polar Vantage M watch and Polar Verity Sense heart rate monitor. I do sports at a high level and it has been an incredible asset to measure my performance on the field with their cardio load status, and off the field with their sleep monitoring. Greatly recommend their ecosystem for anything sports related.
Todo lo necesario para llevar un seguimiento y control de nuestras actividades diarias
I’m new to Polar and am still learning what information I can learn about myself and my training sessions! So far it is amazing and I’m learning a lot.
I used Polar products when I taught fitness classes, biked centuries and ran a few marathons. I really enjoy this fitness watch for what I am able to do as an active senior. Track my cardio load and sleep recharge. Try out exercise programs beyond tracking my steps. Keeps me moving! Affordable.
