LOVED this app, and will likely continue to once they fix the newest update, but I cannot download any new episodes with the latest update and have tried to do so over wireless and 4G LTE. Please fix ASAP! Thank you.

Busy, not worth the upgrade

After a pitch from my favorite podcast, Going in Raw, I tried this podcast out. It has a very functional watch app, and it is fast and responsive. It gets 3 stars for doing what it needs to do in a fast, responsive manner. But...it is focused on discovery, opening to a feed of new podcasts to listen to. Playlists have to be built manually. It just lacks features i have gotten used to on other apps. Smart playlists, smart audio boost, auto download new episodes, custom number of episodes to do so. Overall, i might have even given this 4 stars if the app prioritized me listening to my podcasts over discovery. But it’s not the best.

Wish there was a easier way for the next episode to start automatically. As of now I have to download them backwards or open each episode i download and put it into a playlist. But I still have to do that backwards. Just got this iPhone, the CastBox for Android did not have this issue.

Edit: Thanks for the responses, I have since updated and downloading works again, great for the daily commute. iPhone 7+ on 10.3.2 latest version of Castbox. Downloads don't start, already tried reinstalling app. When it worked it worked well.

Great but with a glaring issue

I love the organization and aesthetic feel of the app. My only complaint is that, after using it for 4 days, I've had to restart and try and find where I left off on an episode because it failed to remember where I had last paused it. Hopefully this can be fixed so I can continue to use it. ADD: I have to give up on this app, I've had to restart that same episode 8 times in 2 days because it fails to remember where it left off.

Enjoying this app very much. So much better than iOS default app. However, Castbox screen, is stuck on loading on Apple watch. Please help. ?
