I need to an easy to use pitch reference for outdoor singing, when there’s no other instrument to provide the pitch. And since I don’t yet have perfect pitch, this little app serves the purpose well.

I frequently turn to it while listening to music, to determine a song’s key, as I almost always then have to transcribe for my baritone voice.

The “Pocket Pitch” App fully delivers on the developer’s goal: to create an app singers could use like a pitch pipe. The free version is excellent. I am considering upgrading to get the premium features.
